Loading ...“Love of our country” would require patriotism and nationalism. There are very few patriots in the USA that I know of, including my friends and relatives, and the masses gleefully driving imported cars.
The second most expensive consumer product after a home. If it was practical for unpatriotic Americans to import houses, they would do that too.
