The Netanyahu Gov’t. has been sort of on the ropes and benefits from this politically as all eyes will turn toward Gaza, but what’s the bigger game? Is it about oil? The dollar? Were the Saudi’s ready to sell oil in other currencies? Iran already is. What if this spills into Syria and where would the Russians stand? So far they’ve sort of stood down on the weekly Israeli attacks in Syria, but if this gets wider, and Hezbollah joins the fray, it is a very dangerous situation. We are certainly in no position to fight a war anywhere, unless they introduce a draft and open it up to the 7 million illegal men that just came into the country.
