I’m looking to see Schwab, Soros, Biden and Graham lined up stepping off the ship amongst all the other young American family sons and daughters they put in harms way but don’t see them anywhere.

I guess their motto is kill off the good and leave the bad and double down with open borders to outnumber and destroy the city’s.

Yesterday I listened to a fellow who said he opened his Bible to page 222 and the message was exactly what he had needed. So I thought, “I wonder what my Bible says on page 222?” So I opened my personal Living Bible to page 222 and it was Deuteronomy chapter  8, verse 13 top of the page which starts and continues “and your silver and gold have multiplied. That is the time to watch out that you don’t become proud and forget the Lord your God.!”

Got silver and gold?

I hold a stock that is down some 50% just since the beginning of this past
September. Gold is roughly unchanged, Oil is roughly unchanged as well
( so some of the input costs for PM companies cant blame higher energy
prices). I tried to email their investor relations from their web site…..
I get repeated replies saying “mail is undeliverable.” Then I try to call
the company, but I couldn’t get through……..

Yeah, and the real pm’s have shown up. I’m sporting some new 52 and multi year lows in one of my shares, much worse than when gold was at $1820

GDP 4.9% highest since 2020? and Durable Goods up 4.2%

The reaction is odd to me. Yes, the usual hit on pm’s that normal, but rates came down? The dollar stayed pretty mush where it was, up a little.

I guess I’d think that rates would soar, and the dollar explode higher?

But of course, the main thing is that the SM came all the way back, and even Bitcoin is coming back a bit.

For us, it appears that the nightmare will continue.

NEM is up nicely to start the day though. They shook the tree hard yesterday.

Nasdaq getting some downside follow thru that may not let up. DOW as well.

Dollar ripping higher, 10 yr. up 3 bips to 4.97%. Maybe today is 5% day?

Oil is down near 2%, below $84. Must be a lot of frustrated longs wondering why oil isn’t soaring, welcome to an average day in the pm markets fellas. Nothing makes sense does it?

Believe it or not Bitcoin is down a $200 and change.

Finally our pm’s are up a little but have been fading for the last couple hours. Gold futures got back above $2K and spot above $1990, but faded from there. Headwinds with rates and the buck.

NEM came out with a miss on earnings but is flat in the premarket. It’s early though, so there’s plenty of time to take it to the woodshed, but looks like maybe yesterday was telegraphed.

GDP comes out in an hour. Always seems to move the market. Consensus is 4.2% quarter over quarter. Seems lofty to me, durable goods also come out with an expectation of 0. I’d think the SM is going to want to see weak numbers, but who knows what the Gov’t. will give them?
