Actually, the neck situation with herniated discs can cause blockage (plaque), decreased blood flow, and chest pain that mimics a heart attack. I didn’t know this either, but it is fairly common. Rule out plaque because my cholesterol was perfect.
I don’t have numbness, but my fingertips are cold and blue. Got a free consult with a cardio nurse practitioner at church yesterday – process of elimination.
I did think I was having a heart attack, so did my wife, and the ER Doc.

Still as far as artery’s you can have low and normal BP and blockage or starting too. Stress can contribute to it.

That doesn’t explain the chest pain. If it’s your neck be arthritis or other issues do you have any numbness? Just because you have one thing it doesn’t seem to fit ALL symptoms of that one thing.
If your chest pain stoped after that heparin or similar shot even if not and no risks of bleeding maybe for now it wouldn’t hurt to take a baby aspirin. Did they check your artery’s for any blockage? Sometimes things can come and go.
A EKG and lab can pick up things in progress or as far as lab happened. I don’t know if they do physical assessments anymore but can zero in on things faster.
Like did your son mention MI or endocarditis? MI has heart sounds that would pick that up and so would endocarditis like murmurs, pericarditis rubs etc etc.
Have you had a sonogram on your arteries for artery flow? After a certain age I think it should be done yearly as well as a EKG along with traditional blood levels. . Oh the hypocrisy of two many tests but these test are reasonable.
Sounds like they need to get busy on the c scan, If it’s arthritis SNG can tell you about Born. But it seems to me there would be neuro effects of coming from your spine. Also your wife can massage your neck but not touch your spine. Just next to it with her thumbed in a circular motion from low to high next to it, It might also help move and build up or not but might. Don’t give up. If that’s the problem. But not just the solution.
Me I’m giving up on these iPhones! There a money trap. I got one that they said was not the new model but was new not used getting tired of replacing them costs esp now retired. Well less than a year and usually two years the battery runs out. They want you to buy a new one. So I called Apple told them I wanted a battery instead this time. You know they can get in your phone and check it!!! So then a few weeks later it wouldn’t pick up home WiFi to save data use so started using my iPad more. I started to suspect what else could they get into? Then the button to turn it on and other things wouldn’t work!!! I notice this strange never there before faint picture of a circle that looked like that button so tried it and it worked . Now I have lines going down the screen as I’m tying now.
I’m done with them. Next time I’m going to get another brand to uncharted territory’s.

Ipso – I like Ramaswamy too, but I didn’t know about his pro vaxx stuff or his connects to big pharma. That would be a big no for me. Can’t trust the numbers, they’re all lies.
Goldie – so they released me without finding the cause and I still have the symptoms. That being said I’m 100% sure that my neck is the problem. Funny, I was scheduled to have a CT Scan of the neck and it was cancelled. I think I know who cancelled it, but I’m not sure why. It would explain the coldness in my fingers and the bluishness in the nails. My O2 is 97-100, they found no problems in my heart and zero in my labs, all of it was perfect. Talked to my Seal Team doc and he had the same thing years ago. I got injections in my neck a month or so ago.

Hope all is well or getting better. I’d like to clarify something I said about me It’s the other side of medicine, the over kill. Where they want to do any kind of test of things you could possibly get including being exposed to multi radiation test. Now if I had symptoms or thought my body couldn’t heal or could use help that would be one thing. He’s really good at figuring out things without a bunch of tests, I didn’t have to tell him what it was just symptom or only only have a test to verify anyways but he can also be good at knowing things that could happen so want to regularly test you for them.
Some people are really afraid of dying and want every test they can get, some are not, I’m not.
