Witness said police  were blocking a  road while fire was right behind them. When he asked the police why he was blocking the road when the fires right there behind them he said he was told to keep them here.

Utility trucks  were blocking the only escape road putting up power poles during a fire instead of turning power off and getting out of their way they just went on with their supposed business like nothing was going on.

You will laugh at this.  Way, WAY out in a volcano jungle subdivision where the ‘gravel’ has disappeared from the ‘road’, leaving only rocky lumps of lava bedrock to drive on, there are utility poles placed at intersections.  I believe there is a single power wire primary strung down the main road, but not the sidestreets.  No takers for power hookups.   But the Telco strung fiber out there, because cell service was also poor fringe.  One fellow I know out at his container home has a 300MBPS fiber internet drop at his container home… solar powered, of course.  Telephone and internet.
