A while back I saw a video of a helicopter over the forest dropping to the top of trees and looked like they blow torched the trees starting a fire then did it again and again to other trees.

While this was happening in Hawaii, BC Canada was also being torched end to end in the worst fire season on record. Many communities were evacuated and many more put on evacuation alert. The city of West Kelowna burned to the ground and millions of acres of forests were torched and still burning. Many roads/highways were and are still closed; all air traffic into and out of BC has been suspended and only essential road/highway traffic allowed. This was as of yesterday. Not sure of the status today. All FWIW.
