Loading ...Yeah, same here. Oil is going to re-crush the economy and give us some good inflation. I doubt it will show up in the CPI today, because they need inflation to look tame. Energy drives prices of everything.
I suppose the one saving grace is that demand is falling through the floor for everything we don’t need.
Quick story. I went to the ER here in Sarasota with a stomach issue. Had an xray and CT scan. Was there for maybe two hours. The VA takes care of my medical and sends me the bill and what they paid the hospital. The hospital charged $18,000 for that visit. $8K just for the CT scan.
Of the $18K, the VA paid them about a $1K – what it was really worth. Had it been me paying, they would have told me to pay the whole amount. That is just outrageous.
