The idea that History has an endpoint, as promoted by clueless neoconservatives in the unipolar 1990s, is flawed, as it is in an endless process of renewal. The recent official meeting between Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in Beijing marks a territory that was previously deemed unthinkable and which has undoubtedly caused grief for the War Inc. machine.

This single handshake signifies the burial of trillions of dollars that were spent on dividing and ruling West Asia for over four decades. Additionally, the Global War on Terror (GWOT), the fabricated reality of the new millennium, featured as prime collateral damage in Beijing.

Beijing’s optics as the capital of peace have been imprinted throughout the Global South, as evidenced by a subsequent sideshow where a couple of European leaders, a president, and a Eurocrat, arrived as supplicants to Xi Jinping, asking him to join the NATO line on the war in Ukraine. They were politely dismissed.

I think half the problem between the US and Saudi Arabia is that Biden disrespected Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and publicly rebuked him about the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Biden also told the Saudi’s that he’d be buying oil and refilling the SPR. When he reneged on that agreement that’s when OPEC decided to cut their production by a million barrels a day.

Biden is the big problem!

The other countries of the world would much rather see a rational nation as Big Dog than one which foments war constantly. If the Chinese come into Ukraine as a peacemakers that will be a real coup for them.

The Saudi’s have made the break from us. Our Gov’ts lunacy is experiencing some severe blowback and once strong allies are looking to China for leadership. All the death and destruction we’ve heaped on the world is coming home to roost and I’m afraid it won’t be pretty.

We have to get rid of this government before they completely destroy us.

SLV – RSI in stratosphere at 76, so it needs to absorb these gains. Unfortunately, SLV is just now breaking out, so not much of a pullback will negate that.

GLD – has an RSI of 63, not quite there yet.

GDX – 75, GDXJ – 70

The SM, especially tech, can stay overbought longer than anyone can stay solvent. I’ve yet to see pm’s act that way. Maybe things are going to change.

talking again about the dollar. FOX appears to be on the story. Rickards said USD tough to replace as a world reserve currency because US Controls bond market. Swap deals between countries without the dollar will weaken it but not replace it.

His last line – “the only thing that could replace the USD as a world reserve currency right now is gold”

This is what it boils down to I guess. The scum is loading the boat, and so are the funds/momo players. No one is backing down, so when the dam breaks, it will be ugly for one of them.

The question is whether the scum will be able to pull off another waterfall decline or if that time has passed. Odds are against us, I’ve never seen it fail. Maybe the real question is how big of a selloff we’re going to get. We should have support at $1960 and that will hold.

Hopefully the longs are playing to take delivery and screw the Crimex.
