I understand how you feel about China. Me too. Things are at there near worst. But first it was Japan after 1970 until 1989. Then most of our work went to China. I think China is at a high place like our 1970, and the USA is at our lows, since 1970, and things are slowly changing to our better. I always had a manual can opener.

Why does there have to be any inflation to boost the GDP. What products are they going to buy? All they do when they get their hands on something is reverse engineer it the sell you there’s with cheaper material. They even did that to a jet then told them to come get the parts.
Then we have a little problem with greed taxes and regulations and sometimes greedy unions here especially where the Soros of the world are funding the bottom of the gene pool to run city’s and the country for that matter.
Ever bought a manual can opener lately. I finally settled for one made in Japan. A larger version of the mini P38s ration openers. This ones bigger with a hand grip and works great. I’m not buying one more piece of junk from China.

I just listened to that video and agree with it. Because I predicted it long ago that the US Economy has to be rebuilt, and a weaker US Dollar is needed for that. Let China have the strong global reserve currency. So they can buy imports from the USA, put us back to work and probably Europe et al also. Let them finance research and development and let the US get the production runs. Its all simply a reversal of the past. Before 9/11 and the 2008 crisis that confirmed my thinking.

My wife and I were just talking about that. What is the endgame here for us? What will we receive in exchange for our gold? Will gold even be legal to trade? Confiscation?

More questions than answers. I do think that gold will be revalued, maybe even worldwide. If it’s no longer the USD pricing mechanism, what is the mechanism for trade?

No clue what will happen in the future but for today, all is well. 🙂

Love the way the shares are acting. Outside of the RSI’s being above 70 and a little overbought, I’m with Ipso. I don’t see a whole lot that can derail our rally. I suppose rates rising again with a stronger USD can stop us from time to time, but the trend has changed IMHO and it’s strong.

FOX Business had the Bitcoin guru Mike Novograts in for an interview, he was buying Bitcoin AND gold. Said gold has been this level six times and when it breaks it will blow and jump to $2,700 – $3K.

He was the second guest on the show that was buying gold. Unfortunately, Novogratz was buying futures. I wonder if he’s ever had the pleasure of playing the long side at the Crimex before? 🙂 He said he didn’t think the Crimex was going away anytime soon.

What will things be like when the USD loses reserve status? Do they devalue the USD and force everyone on to a CBDC? Will we be receiving Yuan for our pm’s? So many questions.

Kudlow actually said today that he liked a gold backed or commodity based currency. That might be what they need to maintain status. Would mean a massive revaluation of the metals.

I know the pms are moving right now but have you looked at the zim chart lately.
This is the second time this happened but not as much as this time. It’s saying it never got over 20. The highs cut in half. Looks like people held till the pay date then sold which they only needed to be in on the EX date but oh well. Can’t say I didn’t warn anyone.
This is more of a like term hold on hope.

Yea I was there when this horror story was evolving too and working on taking their scare power away from them as they were predictable and doing how to get the medicine while staying under the radar since I care little for being in the lime light, just supportive of those who do or are.
Since I was retiring there wasn’t much they could do to me and would if had fun countering their lies.

The culprit for today’s strength is this report:

Watching FOX Business, gold was mentioned by Maria Bartiromo and how well it’s doing. Course the guy on her panel trashed it. He’s a younger guy and can’t be blamed for feeling like a “horrible investment” as he said.

This is the first mention of gold in the media that I’ve heard. They did have a guest on a few days ago that said everyone should have at least 10% of their portfolio in gold but that’s it. If investors actually followed his 10% guidelines, gold would be $100K.

Seems to me if the smartest guys in the room aren’t talking about gold, maybe they’re accumulating it.

Catching a few bucks to the upside in gold. Silver is the weak sister down $.19. USD is up a tad, rates as well – up 2.5 bips. SM futures are down a little. Oil is down a few pennies. Soft commodities are mixed, with lumber up 1.73%. Bitcoin up $300. Not too much to report, looks like we’re headed towards a relatively muted session unless something changes.

Among the eco data today, the ADP Employment Report and ISM Services stand out among the reports.

I’d be stunned if we extended this rally today. Pretty damn grateful for what we’ve done already.
