How do those trades disappear?
Wash trades are considered insider trading and used for tax reasons selling for loss then buying it back for a gain within a certain amount of time. Then use the tax deduction at tax time.
Apparently they can do it from broker to broker.
How they can tell the difference between that and people cutting losses and those doing wash trades I don’t know except maybe the amount and volume.
If selling signals stop loss sales on others it could drive it down then buying could drive it back up.
See how it can be used to drive up shares and then as it reaches a certain level they then sell into it or versa.
Another reason Fib channels helps.
The only thing I can think of that can disappear is limit buy offers at higher prices get canceled once they sell shares at a certain level and mot sure how it’s done. Like the carrot bait. It’s not my job to watch it or do their homework so not waisting my time.
They’ve been doing that forever though I heard about it back in around 2004. Maybe with computer trading it’s worse.
