Really if we had it to do over, the best play imo was physical gold eagles. Like a blue chip stock. 1,000 ounces at $250 or $250,000 back in 2001 is $1,725,000 today. Far outpaced real estate, no property taxes or upkeep and you could sell an ounce or two when you need some cash.
I think anytime there is a gold price crash, people should buy some eagles. My brother in Ca had about 40 of them. They went up and he used them over time for expenses. Another guy I mentioned Gold to, bought a bunch. Last time I saw him, he thanked me, said he sold them and bought a cabin in the mountains near by. WPM is very good, I have a similar one SAND. Yes I remember Eagle eye, thanks for telling me what he thought. If I searched my Word folder I could probably find some old posts with him.
PS It looks like AU and AG do not want to go down, Im going to buy back the AGQ long Silver play. I think the two interest rate jump and dollar rally will peter out too.
Energy stocks looking good. XOM PTEN SLB BTU etc. A lot of stuff is going up today even with USD and Rates up a little. One of the two is lying.
