At least as far as I know you only have one in Hawaii. There are more than one in California that plain need to go as well as I’m NY and NJ.
Boomer was pushing questions like trying to get Amy to recuse herself if the question of the elections come up while at the same time talking about a smooth transition which there was anything but a smooth transition for Trump. They clearly have evidence of a deep state attempted coup they called their insurance policy. Where are the arrests? To make it worse Bookers bringing up going after Trump even after he is no longer president a mark of a vengeful hostile totalitarian government, and how she would hypothetically handle that. Amy can hold her own on these “ hypothetical “ questions.

Maybe she should ask Biden who thinks he’s running for senate again by the way that question instead of Amy Barrett.

Have had the power go off and on again 4 times this afternoon. Also heard 2 explosions which sounded like transformers blowing up.

We have some high winds.

Turning puter off for a while.

Maybe this will dent the cartel’s profits a bit

Mexico is poised to become the biggest legal marijuana market in the world. Who will most benefit?

Mexico’s marijuana revolution is on display steps from the nation’s Senate, where for the last nine months activists have maintained a fragrant cannabis garden.

Each day, hundreds of people stroll amid a labyrinth of towering green plants, freely lighting joints and getting high.

Their wafting smoke is meant to serve as a reminder to senators, who have to walk through the plumes to get to work. Lawmakers have until Dec. 15 to pass pot legislation under orders from the Supreme Court, which two years ago struck down a marijuana ban as unconstitutional.

After decades of restrictive drug policies that fueled deadly cartel wars, Mexico is poised to become the biggest legal cannabis market in the world.

P.S. Think About Why The US Gov’t in 1971, Reneged On Letting Foreign Countries Redeem Their U.S. Dollars For Gold at $35 When It Was Worth $140.

Think about why the US Gov’t in 1975 finally allowed US citizens to own gold. Think about why the US Gov’t Mint in 1986, provided the production of Gold and Silver Bullion coins to Americans that wanted them. Gold is the bottom line, the end game. Its very important for the US Gov’t and the people, to have some gold.

I’m guilty of feeding the fish once only once. I saved some bread held it tightly in my hand and when under water I opened my hand took little pieces off throwing it around and poof fish everywhere and then took some pictures. Only did it once though.
I’d never think about feeding a shark due to their seemly potential for feeding frenzy’s nor take the chance of even touching one not knowing how fast they are.
That diving man would of faired well in the big waves surfing when you have to hold your breath longer than the 10 footers or even 20. I don’t know about putting things in your mouth though. They are wild plus don’t know what bacteria you might pass to them. There’s a lot of bacteria in the ocean as well but luckily most doesn’t bother us.

Causes of the Asian Financial Crisis also called the “Asian Contagion,”

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:20 on October 13, 2020

Now we have their diabolical Virus Germs. In my view, soon after that every thing changed for the USA and globalization itself. A big tangled fishing line. I hear England is setting up customs near the border. Like its a separate country now.

parts:

The Asian financial crisis, also called the “Asian Contagion,” was a sequence of currency devaluations and other events that began in the summer of 1997 and spread through many Asian markets. The currency markets first failed in Thailand as the result of the government’s decision to no longer peg the local currency to the U.S. dollar (USD). Currency declines spread rapidly throughout East Asia, in turn causing stock market declines, reduced import revenues, and government upheaval.

The crisis was rooted in several threads of industrial, financial, and monetary phenomena. In general, many of these relate to the economic strategy of export led growth that had been adopted across developing East Asian economies in the years leading up to the crisis. This strategy involves close government co-operation with manufacturers of export products, including subsidies, favorable financial deals, and a currency peg to the U.S. dollar to ensure an exchange rate favorable to exporters.

While this benefited the growing industries of East Asia, it also involved some risks. Explicit and implicit government guarantees to bail out domestic industries and banks; cozy relationships between East Asian conglomerates, financial institutions, and regulators; and a wash of foreign financial inflows with little attention to potential risks, all contributed to a massive moral hazard in East Asian economies, encouraging major investment in marginal, and potentially unsound projects.

When the Asian Contagion hit the Pacific Rim counties in 1997-1998 South Korea, which was the 2nd most prosperous Asian country next to Japan, was practically dealt a knockout blow and was plunged into shock and stunned devastation almost overnight. Their government made a great patriotic appeal to their people to turn in and donated their gold of all kinds, jewelry etc. to the government. They didn’t appeal for cash donations, they needed gold to bolster their international standing to prop up trade deals and prevent default and catastrophic implosion of debt instruments to other countries. The exact same thing happened there in 1907. Each time the people responded and saved their country. Even gold in private citizens hands still strengthens a country. China began actively encouraging their private citizens to accumulate gold in addition to their own national buying by their gov. and PBC. China is the world’s largest producer of gold but does not export a single ounce. In addition they’ve been aggressively buying as much as they can source for the past 15 years or so. So has Russia. They know what coming.

Yes I’m aware and was warned young of that fact. It was more of a direct warning you run out of food and stop feeding them could tear your arm off. Like democrats ? Normally I wouldn’t even encourage the wild to trust humans as you know there’s bad ones out there as well as presenting a problem causing fear to humans and death to them.
What I did was give the mom a bit spread it around and got away before she got done eating. I also learned they must have a communication system because other bears came after me and only me looking for food even bigger than her and you should of seen the claws on one of them sheesh.

That’s sad about the man who got killed.
There was a older man who feed two young bears don’t know the story of what happened to the mom north of me 5 Lbs of meat every day. Then one days he walked into a biker bar with Hells Angles and told them to F off. He was later killed that night on his way home. The two growing bears were them in trouble. They had no one to feed them and came looking around for people to give them killed. The person who told me about it said they’re going to have to shoot the bears. Of course I spoke up there had to be another way. Same for injured animals in these fires. It’s different I suppose between feeding a bear who can get food and one who you make dependent on it although neither is a good idea.
That’s the injustice to the bears or any wildlife if they don’t learn how to feed themselves and the paths the mother teaches to find food before winter. The man should of looked for help for the babies when they were young. I don’t know if he did or not.

About Friday’s move up and Todays move down…Buy and Hold ok but the question is has $Gold bottomed into an ICL on 9/24? People say what does it matter?…Gold going anyways to 3,000 or 5,000 or 15,000. Truly, they take this position because they have no clue as to how to measure an ICL bottom. Maybe this time is really different but, I’m not betting that way. ICL bottom is still dead ahead. So be it.

BTW: Couger was bluff charging …making a show with front paws as it stopped.

There was a GUY in Key LARGO Florida,…Capt Slate ,at mile marker 98 ..

Posted by Ororeef @ 14:32 on October 13, 2020

who did a show for divers to get photos from .He would free dive down to 35 feet while holding his breadth place a fish in his mouth and he had conditioned both a MORAY EEL 9 feet long and sometimes a 6 foot  Barracuda to come and take the fish out of his mouth while photographers took pics ,an amazing feat… then swim up all while holding his breath..for several minutes..An amazing guy…! I think he’s retired by now…

I personally know him and dove with him many times ….

On one of my watch lists full of indexes, DGAZ DSLV UGLD and USLV are DEAD! Zero info. No price, market cap, volume etc all gone. I didn’t research it yet and thought maybe one of you knows about this.

Cancel request. I found out….I think we all knew way back those ETN were garbage.

Back in June, Credit Suisse (NYSE: CS), the issuing bank behind the VelocityShares ETNs, announced it was delisting nine of those products from the Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange. The old DGAZ being part of that group was largely overlooked because some gold and silver products were included on the list and those are among this year’s best-performing commodities.

same thing with feeding FISH or Sharks while scuba diving.

Some divers carry food on their person to feed the fish so they can get a photo .Very bad idea because when you want to stop feeding they know where your hiding the fish ..they can smell it and they are coming to get it.

Iv been on Shark dives ..nobody I know hand feeds sharks ,what they do is drop a frozen bait ball with a float overboard .The fish ball dangles mid level as the sharks start to circle while photographers snap pics as they attack it.Smaller sharks come in first ,the really big ones stay farther away circling the fish ball. They are very cagey at first ,then move in to grab a piece..  Some places have condition them by gunnung the engine ,they hear that and come in even before the bait ball is dropped .Just like Pavlovs dog story….NEVER hide food on your person ,they will come and take it from you ,they smell it.Something else about the fish world is they dont tolerate cripples or injured fish ,they attack immediately and eat it. Thats why it smart to swim confidently and not splash ,struggle or look like your injured. That looks like an easy meal to them.. You can swim with sharks  ,not a problem, really even touch them as they swim by.Just dont struggle and look like your injured.  Have swam with black tip, white tip ,sand sharks, Nurse sharks without any problems.Never swam with a Great White ,never seen one….dont want to …above all dont feed them….

Goldielocks, About feeding a bear….

Posted by silverngold @ 12:04 on October 13, 2020

I’ve heard it’s not dangerous to feed a bear, what is dangerous is to STOP feeding a bear. I’m sure you’ve seen some of those scenes of a lady with a loaf of bread feeding a bear at Yellowstone. All went well until she said “that’s enough” and turned to get back into her car. She was lucky because the bear just ripped the bread sack out of her hand and ate it.

There was an incident in Terrace BC where a bear walked daily through a guys yard on its way to the local dump. The guy started throwing food to it to make it “tame”, and after awhile he could feed the bear out of his hand from a supply of candy he carried in his pocket. One day the bear came for his treat, the guy reached into his pocket for the treat but had none, so he turned to go get the treat and the bear attacked him and killed him. So like I said, it’s not dangerous to feed a bear, it’s dangerous to STOP feeding a bear.

Silver and the cougar

Posted by redneckokie1 @ 11:46 on October 13, 2020

Silver has dropped back into support. It may chop around here for a few days.

About that cougar, it is a young male protecting its territory. Cougars and polar bears are the only two animals in North America that will actively pursue humans as food. Wolves have killed a few people over the years but very few instances of wolves stalking them over significant distance. That cougar was challenging the human not stalking for attack. The cougar never crouched and launched with aggression.

goldielocks @ 0:23, You’re welcome. To answer your question I think the one that turned and ran into the brush was a half grown kitten. It had a long tail too.

Posted by silverngold @ 11:44 on October 13, 2020

The only scenario I can make sense of it that  the guy came upon a mating scene. Mom was crouched in the road up closer. She is darker than the big male that was coming up from farther down the road. The guy filming was turning to run so some of the action is missing, but I think mom also turned and followed her cub (half grown kitten) into the brush and the big male coming up the road is the one that was chasing the guy when he again began filming. Amazing that the guy was able to catch so much while backing away. Probably that is what kept the big male from attacking him, because he was backing up and still facing the big cougar. If he had turned and ran, which it looks like the cougar was trying to make him do, he probably would have been attacked. All IMO but that’s my best guess.

China bans Australian coal imports as political relations sour

Posted by ipso facto @ 10:24 on October 13, 2020

China has suspended purchases of Australian coal, according to people familiar with the order, as Beijing continues to tightly control imports of the fuel amid soured political relations with Canberra.

Chinese power stations and steel mills have been verbally told to immediately stop using Australian coal, the people said, asking not to be identified as the matter is private. Ports have also been told not to offload Australian coal, one of the people said. China’s customs administration wasn’t immediately available to comment.

Maddog and Buygold

Posted by deer79 @ 10:23 on October 13, 2020

Good Morning,

It seemingly never ends. Completely agree; it’s all part of the rigging game and perpetuating the theme that everything is under control.

IMHO, it all ends when the dollar stops being the world’s reserve currency. When that happens, and what will instigate that, is anyone’s guess.

Buygold

Posted by Maddog @ 10:08 on October 13, 2020

Strong Dollar is just an excuse to tank PM’s and get gold back below $ 1900….the game never ends, it’s all about perception and making it all look like it is under control.

The Rig is all they have, without it these mkts would have torn them apart, rates would be thru the roof and the SM would be dead and buried.

As it is the likes of Jamie ‘Yes I am a thief and proud of it’ Dimon are laughing all the way to the Bank, instead of running for his life.
