The cougar that is chasing him is not a female with cubs as can be seen from a side view at frame 5:40. It has no dugs (teets) which should show under its belly if it is nursing cubs. Back at the beginning it does look like a large cub turns off the road to the left and then another grown cougar appears coming up the road at frame 0:10. Another thing that does not fit is two adult cougars together unless it is a female in heat and that is why there are two adults together. Breeding is the only reason a male cougar is with a female. Males are solitary and take no part in the raising of cubs. That behavior of the cougar chasing the guy is Bizarre though, regardless of why it is doing it! I’d say the guy was pretty lucky the way it all ended.
I’ve only had one close encounter with a cougar and that was a young adult in my hay shed I may have posted about a few years back. That one was about 10 feet away and sitting on top of my hay bales when I walked in, but as soon as I moved a little farther into the shed it took the opportunity to escape rather than attack. I’m sure it was as surprised as I was at that encounter. LOL!!!
Some guy jogging ran in to some baby bob cats “ cougars” in the road and momma went after him chased him for quite awhile. Looks like she was just scaring him off and would stay alive as long as he kept moving. Hope he brings a jogging stick and a knife at least next time. I seem to recall they stated in their original charter they would only honor a physical gold withdrawal for investors who held more than 100,000 shares of GLD. That would require an investor to own more than $18,000,000 in GLD shares , at $180 per share. If that’s the case I think they’re pretty safe. My apologies if I am wrong but that is what I recall!

MIAMI — A daughter of Cuban exiles who has had a swift rise as a lawyer and judge is on President Donald Trump‘s short list to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court.
The president said Monday that he does not personally know Barbara Lagoa, but praised her as “terrific.” Barely veiled was the fact that, as a Cuban-American from South Florida’s city of Hialeah, her selection could benefit Trump in the Nov. 3 election, when Florida could be the ultimate kingmaker. Lagoa grew up in a heavily Hispanic suburb of Miami.
“She’s excellent. She’s Hispanic. She’s a terrific woman from everything I know. I don’t know her. Florida. We love Florida. So she’s got a lot of things — very smart,” Trump said in a call-in interview with “Fox and Friends.”

I think they own some gold because they sell it to their buddies and to the connected but good luck if you are just Joe Shmo.
If they did buy gold in the quantities they say then they’d be causing a major price hike. Sprott’s Funds and others who really buy the gold they say, have a devil of a time filling their orders.
I’m sure most of what they own could be destroyed with a match! I agree it’s a control mechanism for the PTB-Deep state.
If you read the charters on ETF’s they state they TRACK the underlying securities or commodities they represent but they have no obligation to buy, sell, or even own any of those securities or commodities. They are strictly DERIVATIVES in which you can buy or sell shares for a management fee at the current stated price…… but you own NOTHING.
So, my bet is ETF’s are the control mechanism TPTB use to maintain absolute control of all markets, make money from you while doing so (management fee), and have no obligation to do more than return whatever money the shares are worth when you request it. In the mean time they can and do use your money to control the markets. All IMO and FWIW. I personally refuse to use them.
