Yeah this health care ‘system’ is nutz. It’s a Business… never forget that. That’s why… when & where ever possible… I try to be my own ‘medicine man’ and get the knowledge and resources I need to take care of myself & close loved ones.
Nice to see you posting.
U need to grow up and learn some manners.
Re Flu shot…cud be. Tks…never had one in ages.
Italy also has two factors that make it unique. The Northern area which was worst hit by far, is a massive destination for Chinese tourists and they have a hidden slave labour section making luxury goods, that are all Chinese people in sweat shops…for the likes of Versace etc, so they can be genuinely labelled as made in Italy still.
The Chinese are obsessed with where stuff is made, so will fly over to load up from the area it comes from, do a bit of tourism and then go home and sell it on, to help pay for the trip.
In the UK we have a shopping village 30 mins outside London by train, called Bicester village, it is/was so busy with Chinese that they built a new train station to handle the volume…we also have loads of Chinese students.
As for care homes, we in the UK threw elderly people out of hospitals, into care homes, without testing them, to make space, so they then infected the rest of the home etc…I believe Italy may have done the same but they also have a lot of elderly people as a percentage of the population……this is a scandal waiting to blow, as there are tons of very unhappy relatives.
Come on back for another lickin’…
It was part of my physical distancing initiative…if I looked like riff raff, no one would come near me.
I looked like that CN train wreck from the brake fail…
I am a Libertarian. I don’t care what you do or need, leave my family out of it, just don’t tax me for it or put it in your political platform.
I get castigated here for calling out the weasels and get socially banished like twitter et al…
Seems like a breathe of fresh air…

(Reuters) – Billionaire investor Carl Icahn, who was the largest shareholder in Hertz Global Holdings Inc, unloaded his entire stake in the rental car company at a “significant loss” days after it filed for bankruptcy protection.
According to a regulatory filing made on Wednesday, Icahn, who held a nearly 39% stake in Hertz and had three representatives on the board, sold 55.34 million shares on Tuesday at 72 cents per share.
Hertz fell victim to coronavirus shutdowns that dramatically curtailed travel and created major financial hardships for the company, Icahn said in the filing, adding that he supported the board’s decision to seek bankruptcy protection on Friday.
Even though he suffered heavy losses, which he did not quantify, Icahn said that he still believed in the company and thinks it can be a “great company” in the future. At the end of 2019, his stake in Hertz was worth close to $700 million.
That friend probably should go to the ER.
Too long for a fever can cause all sorts of problems like dehydration and more. Circulation to her feet compromised can result in gang green. Tiny blood clots cut the circulation off at the toes.
Plus clots can break loose and travel.
Even certain surgery’s can have that issue and had to yeast post op problems with peripheral clotting. It’s shouldn’t be ignored. It’s not JUST a fever.
Could be as it messes with your immune system.
Back in 2009 H1N1 around that time a Canada study found that people vaccinated with the seasonal flu were twice as likely to get the H1N1.
Ride on, it’s all about following the money. Why demo states have a higher death and vent rate. Also have a higher minority rate in the same areas.
Maybe the doctors can get around it if they can get the same money for the hyperbaric instead.
