They didn’t need to work all that hard to make most people more stupid and obedient.
There are even a lot of hard working people that we call “stupid” because they buy the bullshit.
That’s the sad part.
They are giving away the money to make people stupid and lazy — mission accomplished — and even more dependent on the control state (bureaucrats and oligarchs).

Seems to me gold actually does better in times of deflation, and from the battle against it.
That’s what I’ve seen in my limited two decades of experience, and I haven’t learned much. 🙂
