You can also develop antibodies by being exposed like they mentioned what keeps your immune system up to protect you and not get sick. Meaning you don’t have it you were just exposed to it.
Like a positive TB test showing you were exposed but test show your clear you don’t have it. Because you don’t have antibodies doesn’t mean your gonna get sick. Because you do doesn’t mean you won’t but likely have a better chance you won’t or not as sick but no data.
Vaccines can do that too. Give false positives. If you had the BCG vaccine for TB a TB test could show a false positive then have to have s chest X-ray.
A nurse friend of mine it saved her life. She had a antibody positive to it but didn’t have it but in the process of getting a X-ray they found cancer. She may if found out too late otherwise.
