I guess we’ll find out in the next few weeks if the governments of China, Italy, Spain, Iran and the US are trying to put one over on us. IMO the coronavirus is a genuine dangerous health risk. It would not be at all surprising if hospitals in a socialized medicine system fare worse in the present situation.

The question I am trying to answer is whether or not this whole COVID-19 pandemic (and surrounding circumstances) is a hoax – and I have not made up my mind.

It seems to me if hospitals (anywhere) get overwhelmed to the point where triage decisions must be made and patients (who could been saved) are allowed to die due to inadequate resources, then this SARS-CoV-2 bug really is worse than a typical flu. Unfortunately it seems like overwhelm HAS been happening in Italy, if news reports are to be believed.

Lets not forget about white tail deer, turtles, and whales. Also those Behemoth Gas Guzzling SUVs? They have to go. Nobody needs an SUV, an Assault Weapon, or a 12 cylinder Jaguar. We do need more immigrants, because they work cheap and do the jobs Americans don’t want right? Plus, they are only trying to have a better life. They need fast track citizenship, and driver licensees too..

Plus, we don’t like those dirty polluting manufacturing jobs. The rust belt has got to go. We are going to be a sales and service of imported products economy.

This is the problem with many hospitals and especially socialized medicine. Under staffed under paid under resourced. It’s true healthcare has gotten a lot sick through time, really sick to some, some gave their lives and why they need protection. Like I mentioned even from others. There was a example, he did not like being put in quarantine when already short of staff.
They need to suit up now to protect themselves since they don’t know who has it coming in and each other. Mask interfere with breathing when your in a physical situation plus moisture builds up from just breathing so they need to be changed. This they can go through a lot of them a day. They are only so protective. Ie N95 April 95 % effective.
Some can accidentally contaminate themselves by touching the outside of the mask that may now have the virus or when taking it off. Lay people wearing them on streets even more because they just don’t know.
To those wearing them don’t touch the mask and taking it off only touch the straps and dispose of it then wash your hands.
Like China they need to suit up in ER, ICU or wherever the virus could be.
They also need to get in more lighting that kills airborne and surface particles.

My view? We HAD a new world order starting in 1913. The New World Order is now very old and started failing.

One hidden and major danger is other staff coming in where you don’t know their sick staff infecting other staff. I had no underlining conditions then.
For my neighbor I will ask her if she wants to teach my 7 yr old grandson while out of work for extra money.

As far as all those with adult kids in Korea the highest amount of deaths were the 20-29 years old. Second highest we’re were in their 40s.
They had lower deaths than Italy but the older and smokers on top of it were most affected is the difference plus limited beds and staff so people died because of triage measures where they will have to choose who is most likely to survive which is hard on staff who want to save as many as they can.
Doesn’t explain Japan though who has the highest number in oldest but low number of deaths. I’m guessing care plus they are used to masking up “ and have the masks to do it” and taking precautions due to population and outbreaks of past and health conscious. I don’t know what age group was most affected.
Here even people who need to mask up or in outbreak areas can’t even get them.

One of my neighbors got laid off too from teaching. She was a substitute teacher but had regular work now has none. She also worked part time at a restaurant but they’re slow. Hope they can beef up the amount they make on unemployment because theres no where to go.

Sometimes, regarding a shooting, the media will find every shooting in every nook and cranny to report on it. Lately they are very quiet about killings. I’ve seen a few small reports of killings on back pages.
