Looks like the submerged beach balls

Posted by Buygold @ 10:53 on March 17, 2020

Have been released and it’s a beautiful thing.

Hoping this is the intraday reversal we’ve been looking for.

$100 up day would probably confirm ?

I think this lady is “right on” in what she says. Worth the time when you can find it.

@treefrog re 9:47 JUST HOW BAD IS IT ?? It doesn’t matter, its another nail in the coffin of Globalization

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 10:07 on March 17, 2020

I knew by 1975 that Globalization was a bad idea from the start. And the country’s living standards as a whole have been degraded gradually ever since. In reality nothing is free or cheap without an artificial or diabolical reason.

And the country has paid and is paying now again, an enormous price to enjoy allegedly cheaper consumer products, artificially cheap airline tickets, and allegedly cheap cruises to spend money in non American places. Add gold and silver and base metals to artificially cheap due to diabolical manipulators of price.

No pain no gain. So all this near term pain may pay off if each country gradually become more independent and self reliant. Like it was when Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue. 🙂

Treefrog -Thanks

According to Nenner if the Dow closes below 20k you are looking at 1929.

Exactly what that means I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure it’s not good.

Physical is looking very good here.

Bank stocks look like crap — even if they are Scottish (think Mike Myers).

Chuckle

Dead cat bounce in the Dow not very impressive … now going back into the pit.

Posted by treefrog @ 9:47 on March 17, 2020

it isn’t good, but is it a screaming, apocalyptic, end of the world as we know it disaster?   well, no.

13 minutes in. Reminds me of every rally in pm’s over the last 8 years.

PM shares looking OK. Hopefully the metals will follow and move higher.

OK, so in the time it took me to type this they’ve managed to get the DOW back up a 100

reporting that the credit markets are not functioning well. Problems all over the place.

Expects Fed to step in today – again. Funny, Phyzz has no counterparty risk.

Does Any Of This Look Like The Fed Has Anything Under Control?

Something is very wrong… this is a 2008 redux… counterparty risk concerns are spooking the interbank markets…”

Glad the carb caps came. Yep, pretty much nothing else for sale unless we’re willing to pay high premiums.

Take care of yourself, since your so much more likely to be exposed than any of us here.

This too shall pass…

Follow UUP for the dollar – yesterday it was down 3%, today as you say up 1.25%

I’m not sure even the dollar is going to matter much eventually but I suppose for today it’s as good an excuse as any.

Looks like the DOW is going to try for a 500 pt. jump start today but their still has to be some residual mutual fund selling after a 12% down day yesterday that will hit shortly after the open.

If we can get another 1K pts. down you might be able to hit the calls you were talking about yesterday?

edit: Have half a mind to pick up a little NEM premarket. Maybe I just have half a mind… 🙂

Buygold–an anchor on the pms today is the “good as gold” u.s. dollar which is up a YUGE 1.243

A little surprised to see pm’s getting crushed again this am, even though we all know the “no follow thru allowed” for shares rule in pm’s.

Almost have to wonder if London is providing cover for the shorts on Crimex.

Whatever, it can’t last for too much longer. Physical is running out and as much as I’d love to pay the paper prices right now, that ain’t happening either.

I’m betting this am bounce in the SM probably won’t hold either, doesn’t seem like bear markets end that way.

Appears Bitcoin is stabilizing around $5K
