AFGHANISTAN, WHERE EMPIRES GO TO DIE.

Posted by treefrog @ 23:19 on September 11, 2018

we have been at war there since 2001.

have we won anything?

is there anything there to win?

will we be there another seventeen years?

I thought I’d seen enough of 911 to last a lifetime but I found this documentary of the heroic 911 fire fighters impossible not to watch. May those responsible for this disaster burn in hell.

Bolton,s gotta go ,He’s an intelligent diplomat ,butttttt dont put him in charge !

Posted by Ororeef @ 14:37 on September 11, 2018

His loyalty is to Israel and we cant have the TAIL waggin the DOG..They dont care how many US soldiers die as long as Israel benefits even if its in a very small way….

Somethings just dont work even with your friends….Its kinda like hiring GAYS to work for you ..thats fine ,just dont put them in charge ..before you know it the place will have nuthin but Gays in it ..they hire only their friends and you lose 90 % of your business …The POPE learned that lesson the HARD way….They took over the Seminarys where NEW Priests are trained ..and they hired nuthin but thier friends.

When I sold my Franchise business back to the Parent company they made that mistake they got politically correct and put a DYKE in charge and she hired nuthing but her friends and sales went down 47 % …The company lost 3 million Dollars in two years and closed the business when I never had a money losing year in 25 years..and yes I had gays work for me all through that time  .Good sense verses Political correctness…Same with hiring blacks and Asians ,I always hired them ,but I controlled the % of each to the % represented by the customer base,so everybody felt represented. It was NOT a stated Policy ,if you do that EVERYBODY attacks you ..Never had racial conflicts in 25 years….and this was in a town that had a church on every corner ,my biggest customers were churches… Catholics ,Baptists,Jewish Temples I had the biggest Church representation of every fast food business .Yet I had Gays ,Blacks Asians White all working there  !The first thing the company did was raise prices..they never learned anything I cautioned them NOT to do ,they did the opposite they kept telling me this is why we are successful in Boston,I told them This aint Boston….They lost a business and 3 million dollars that operated successfully 25 years and they were the “Experts”. I was the first successful store in the State of Virginia for them 1969…They never bothered to learn what  the  LOCALS wanted ,just what they were going to give them..                      Bolton had better learn what the Americans want, not what he’s going to give them …

Secretary of STATE is a DIPLOMATS job ….its much MORE than who your LOYAL TO !

More news needed for pets and stray animals.
I follow animal sites and people should also be aware of pets being left behind, be their voice and call spca or any one to help get them out. Some of these animal controls don’t do their job. A construction guy for instance calling about a starved skin and bones protruding not much time left dog tied in a back yard animal control guy didn’t act so he reported him and called spca so that lacy idiot gave the guy a ticket for obstructing.so now he has to go to court to fight the ticket. He videoed it. Soon after they rescued the dog, If that guy at animal control can’t do his job get out!
There was at least one case in Florida where a dog that looked scared was seen and pictured tied to a poll in a area expected to flood and did but someone got the dog out.
Other pets were found stranded standing on objects above the flood. Even a picture came in on this cute unusual looking bird trying to get in a high rise window away from the hurricane.

You remind me of a professor with gadgets I never heard of lol
I saw something on FB the other day they had these orange looked like plastic things L shaped. Flat at bottom that hold it up becomes a mini wall. They stop flash floods buy only up to its height. Really would be good for places like Texas. They showed how good they work putting them down in high pressure water and it was diverted the water.
Now they can divert it to a collection system as they should do in drought areas.

The article seemed a little off for Kissinger like that list. Only partial truths maybe then added emotional quotes or was the whole thing false. So I did a search and found it was only partial truths the rest was made up by the writer even if we may agree it would be too out there a experienced intellectual like Kissinger wouldn’t do.

Here’s a fact check with a link to the original.
To confirm this, we hunted down a transcript of Kissinger’s 18 December 2016 appearance on Face the Nation. Although he does say, “Donald Trump is a phenomenon that foreign countries haven’t seen” and could become “a very considerable president,” Kissinger doesn’t say, “They [Clinton supporters] will never admit that he is the one true leader,” nor does he say, “There is not a single thing wrong with him.” Nor have we been able to find these words attributed to Kissinger in any other reliable source.
Here is a video clip of the full Face the Nationinterview:

I am gobsmacked and dumbfounded! Who could have foreseen it! LOL

Nuclear Power Plants At Risk Of Direct Hit By Hurricane Florence

—Like Fukishima=Also, there is a significant risk of “a life-threatening storm surge” of up to 20 feet or higher along the coast where the nuclear power plants sit.

North and South Carolina nuclear power plants are in line for a possible direct hit from Hurricane Florence.
According to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), there are twelve operating nuclear power plants in the Carolinas that make electricity by the continuous splitting of uranium atoms (i.e., a nuclear reaction). These plants generally reside near a body of water—a river, lake, estuary or ocean—because they require a constant source of water for cooling purposes. Without cooling water, a nuclear reactor will overheat, leading to core damage, containment failure, and release of harmful radiation into the environment.

Mainly I don’t want to see Russians and Americans shooting at each other. No one knows where that will go.

We should get the F out of Syria and stop supporting “friendly” terrorists who then morph into ISIS when convenient. Trump is really screwing up in the ME IMO!

Kissinger At
94

Recently,
Henry Kissinger did an interview and said vary amazing
things regarding President Trump. He starts
with:

“Donald Trump is a phenomenon that
foreign countries haven’t seen before”!

The former Secretary of State Henry
Kissinger gives us a new understanding of President Donald
Trump’s foreign policy and predicts its success:

“Liberals
and all those who favor (Hillary) Clinton will
never admit it. They will never admit that he is the one
true leader. The man is doing changes like never before and
does
all of it for the sake of this nation’s people. After
eight years of tyranny, we finally see a
difference.”

Kissinger knows it and he continues
with:

“Every
country now has to consider two things: One, their
perception that the previous president, or the outgoing
president, basically
withdrew America from
international politics, so that they had to make their own
assessments of their necessities. And secondly, that there
is a new president who’s asking
a lot of unfamiliar questions And because of the
combination of the partial vacuum and the new questions, one
could imagine that something remarkable and new emerges out
of it.”

Then
Kissinger puts it bluntly:

“Trump
puts America and
its people first. This is why people love him and this is
why he will remain in charge for so long. There is not a
single thing wrong with him and people
need to open their eyes.” When he boasts that he has a
“bigger red button” than Kim Jung Un does, he so
transcends the mealy-mouthed rhetoric of the past, thereby
forcing a new recognition of American power.

Kissinger once
wrote:

“The
weak grow strong by effrontery – The strong grow weak through inhibition!”

No
sentence better captures the US.-North Korea relationship.
This applies to the liberal aggression and the conservative
reticence.

Trump is
discarding the inhibitions and calling the bluff on North
Korea’s effrontery: His
point is that the contrast of American retreat under Obama
and its new assertion of power under Trump creates a new
dynamic that every one of our allies and of our enemies must
consider Our allies grew complaisant with Obama’s
passivity and now are fearful
due to Trump’s activism. And they must balance the two in
developing their policies: They
realize that the old assumptions, catalyzed by Bush 43’s
preoccupation with Iraq and
Obama’s refusal to lead are obsolete. So, Trump is
forcing a new calculus with a
new power behind American interests. Those — here and
abroad — who rode the old apple cart worry about its being
toppled.

But, as
Kissinger so boldly stated:

“Trump
is the one true leader in world affairs and he is forcing
policy changes that put America first!”

This is
the most accurate statement of what the American
Citizens who live outside of the swamp want and expect
from their government.

I like
the list of 13 things that I, as a senior American citizen,
want. Trump is at least talking about issues that most
Americans are concerned about. My mantra
about Trump is this: Truthfully, We are in agreement with
most of what he says. We are getting older and our tickers
aren’t what they used to be, but what matters is that he
covers most of the 13 things we as seniors want, at least I
do for sure

1.
Hillary: held accountable for her previous
wrongs!

2. Put
“GOD” back in America!

3.
Borders: Closed or tightly guarded!

4.
Congress: On the same retirement & healthcare plans as
everybody else.

5.
Congress: Obey its own laws NOW!

6.
Language: English only!

7.
Culture: Constitution and the Bill of
Rights!

8.
Drug-Free: Mandatory Drug Screening before & during
Welfare!

9.
Freebies: NONE to
Non-Citizens!

10.
Budget: Balance the darn thing!

11.
Foreign Countries: Stop giving them our money! Charge them
for our help! We need it here.

12. Term
limits for congress

And most
of all. . .

13.
“RESPECT OUR MILITARY AND OUR FLAG!” And our
police. We the people are coming!

Only 86%
will send this on. Should be 100-

14.
DRAIN THE DAMN SWAMP!!!!!

Please
send it on; if only to one person.

Staged Filming of False Flag ‘Chemical Attacks’ Has Begun in Idlib: Russian MoD

Russian state media channels, in a near simultaneous blitz of information, have issued breaking alerts this morning that anti-Assad insurgents in Idlib have begun filming “fake footage of chemical attacks” based on Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) statements. The Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation says the “fake footage of chemical attacks” is expected to be delivered to various TV channels and Western journalists before the end of the day Tuesday

PMs=These derivatives, according to the chart, have increased from about $2.5 billion at the end of 2001 to nearly $50 billion in the quarter ended in July this year.

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

Market analysts who chart prices with a mystical belief in the predictive power of “waves” and “candlesticks” might come closer to reality by wondering whether the derivative chart is exerting more powerful magic with the help of entities authorized to create infinite money and deploy it in secret.

The quarterly report from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency showing bank trading revenue, published today and called to GATA’s attention by our friend J.H., contains a remarkable graph showing the increase in the notional value of precious metals derivatives held by “U.S. commercial banks and savings associations” quarter by quarter since 2001.

These derivatives, according to the chart, have increased from about $2.5 billion at the end of 2001 to nearly $50 billion in the quarter ended in July this year.

The chart is excerpted from the report at GATA’s internet site here:

http://www.gata.org/files/PMDerivatives-Q2-2018.pdf

Investment houses that have put their clients’ money into the monetary metals and the companies that mine them might do well to inquire too if they ever became more interested in creating value for shareholders than mining them for management fees.

I’d like to think that Hawaii is well prepared.  We’ve certainly had a lot of practice! 🙂   Tomorrow when the rain starts in earnest, I need to remember to write down the ‘start’ reading on my electronic rain gauge so I can get an accurate storm total.  I forgot to do that with the last hurricane and regretted it.  My best estimate was approximately 30 inches here for hurricane Lane.  We will see how Olivia rates on the “Treefrog Hurricane Scale”

I think the Hawaii is better suited for preparedness than the states. That’s probably why they don’t mention it so much less it’s a bad one. Either that or because they can’t get off the subject of Trump. It’s like a soap opera now.
Then the left says he’s getting distracted. Wonder why? They had nothing to do with it. The left media is like having to bring unruly rude screaming kids to work with you.
