I had a minute sitting out on the patio in this horrible heat. Gonna be 105 tomorrow.
I found this and hope your talking about Scranton PA if I got that right.
The fact that they’re isolating her and taking her phone you might have to do a search yourself.
I did a quick search found this and if correct she can afford it.
With everything going up in Calif anyways and wages can no way compensate for the average person it’s either gonna have to reset again or were gonna have a depression.
You might have to email them to verify. They can help with waivers I think too.

In the beginning it may have been humanitarian post war. What’s going on now is entirely different. It’s people with brains going to people here without ” politicians” taking advantage and plain theft. While others who are doing the same who are economically corrupt like Mexico are trying to play the post war humanitarian game that has nothing to do with post war but their dependence on us illegally because money gets sent back and they infiltrate our gov and change our demographics and taking the focus off their failed economics by dumping people in our laps and saying you feed them. Then they want to critize how we try to deal with it, it’s ongoing and we already have multi millions. It’s working on going beyond a invasion to a attempted occupation. I remember years ago people like that Ramos saying pretty soon there will be more Mexicans here than americans.
This is no time for talking it’s a time to act because up to now no one has. They just talk. They use it for their platform. We need to put tents up in front of their homes and house the illegals there. I’d love to see how they handle that.

As far as the lady she is not in a assisted living she’s with family and although second hand they sound like are taking advantage. APS can monitor her, check on her, and put a stop to financial theft and also make sure her needs are being met including meals and doctors apt. Places like Uber or whatever could taker her places if she has the money but they’re taking it. Yes she can contribute but not all of her money. If they don’t stop they can go to jail. They can also find a suitable place for her if she doesn’t want to be there.

Titanic, Facts do Matter, re Titanic Situation

(Mr.Copper) Jun 15, 23:12

I’m thinking, if there ever was an international financial calamity, (and I think one is unfolding) all countries would suffer at the start, but the US would end up handling it better than the rest. Probably even prospering as the dust settles.

Why do I think this way? If you consider the present world global economy the Titanic, (and the passengers are the various countries) and it’s sinking, what happens?

It turns into an ugly situation where “it’s every man (country) for himself”, like what’s starting to happen lately (re currency devaluations, tariffs low rates bubbles etc).

Now who do I think, is going to be the strongest swimmer? The United States of America.

Why do I think that? Because the US economy has been supporting, or helping numerous other countries economies, for decades. “So it’s in great condition”. Used to carrying heavy weights.

And if things reverted to “every man (country) for himself” (which is how I think the mess will unfold), then the US should prosper, without the excess weight, of the rest of the world, on its back.

We’ve been doing ok, WITH them hanging on our backs. Can you imagine how we’ll accelerate when we off load them entirely?

Can you imagine the Dollar being worthless against imported goods? The US would end up buying goods from itself? Boom city. Factories opening up in every neighborhood.

The way it has been, the US is the only country, on the planet, that can’t export to the United States.

It’s not fair, if you’re a (domestic) capitalist, but it is fair if you’re a an international capitalist.

If your old friend is living with a blood relative, I would avoid disrupting the situation. It is an extremely ugly, uncomfortable and stressful situation taking care of an elderly person. The caregivers probably deserve anything they can get. I here assisted living apartments are $6,000/mo.

We’re far from Venezuela, and that’s why the people voted for Trump and the left is fighting the people through Trump. There done with the brain dead carrear politicians on both sides. Ryan needs to go and a few others as well.

Goldilocks re Venezuela where socialism is hard to undo

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 16:52 on June 22, 2018

In my view, the whole planet, every country, including the USA is socialist. Globalization is global socialism. Like a car that has rust starting here and there, the entire global “commune-ity system is failing in various areas of the world.

The USA, USED to be the only capitalist country on a socialized planet, but it gradually got “absorbed” into the rest, to prolong the welfare economies of the rest. Think about why TPTB want to absorb N. Korea.

It will gradually evolve into a survival of the fittest, an every country for themselves situation. The ONLY people enjoying capitalism, (unfettered business activity) are the global corporations, with no border lines, out for themselves.

In fact its THEM that are causing all the economic problems in various locations. Anybody that has in made over THERE, and sells it over HERE, is getting away with something that’s not right. Avoiding US labor and US taxes.

What the left and some of ” the club” right carrear politicians is trying to do it fight freedom and keep the gravy train coming their way.
Like I said to someone from Texas who by the way more flooding is going on there I’m not seeing on the news. To save texting:

The left are are so stupid it’s unbelievable.
Their resistance is to obstruct or complain everything Trump does as to attempt to prevent normalizing patriotism. They think they can keep up this bleeding heart immigration problem they caused to try to bring down the economy like it’s a myopic thing. Just shows their cluelessness of economics other than taking money from brains of other countries or business lobbyists, like monkeys taking peanuts for tricks they take advantage of them at our expense.
Where is money going to go? Venezuela where socialism is hard to undo some it takes hold and stores are empty, Mexico were money is getting out due to gangs, Europe which is falling apart too? Another one of their future failed plans. China?

Trump needs to start putting serious sanctions on Mexico. Elections are coming up and here’s their thinking.
One wants amnesty for the cartels. He also pledges to stand by all people world wide who want to enter American illegally because “he said” they have rights to do it for economic reasons. Then of course they become the benefactors. This is going beyond a invasion to a occupation.
We need to start suing for the costs of course we’ll never get by these parasites and then putting on sanctions and build that wall and guard it. The costs are in the billions and growing thats meant for our citizens not theirs.

The best thing for you to do is contact the Adult Protective Services. Tell them what is happening and she is being subject to financial abuse. Tell them you want them to find a decent assisted living place where they take them shopping and other places.
Unfortunately a lot of these places are getting pricy there getting greedy and where heading for another bubble. If you know any in the area find the TOTAL costs and if it covers utilities and meals. You must also tell her in that she needs to allow any communication with the APS to you other wise you not being family they might not tell you anything and could lose track of her.

Communist Blueprint, From 2002

(scorpio) Dec 15, 09:24

COMMUNINST BLUEPRINT OF 1919

This is an outline of Lenin’s and the communist doctrine that fell into the hands of allied forces in 1919. This teaches how to take over a country from within by manipulating the actions of the citizens of that country internally.

1) Cause the registration of all privately owned firearms on some pretext, with an eye on total confiscation of all privately owned firearms in order to leave the populace defenseless.

2) Corrupt the young, get them interested in sex and pornography. Make them superficial and destroy their ruggedness.

3) Obtain control of all means of publicity. Get the people’s mind off of their government by focusing attention on plays, dirty books, drugs, and other character breaking trivialities.

4) Divide the people into hostile groups by constantly causing attention on controversial matters of little importance.

5) Destroy the people’s faith in their leaders by holding them up to contempt and ridicule.

6) Preach true democracy always, but seize power as soon, and as ruthlessly as is feasible and possible to.

7) Encourage government extravagance, destroy its’ credit, cause fear of inflation by causing rising prices and general discontent.

8) Cause strikes in vital industries, unnecessarily cause and encourage civil disorders, and foster a lenient and soft attitude on the governments part toward such disorders, as well as other crimes.

9) Cause the breakdown of moral virtues, honesty, sobriety, continence, faith in the pledged word, and other values that are ordinarily held in high regard.

……If these few rules can be instilled and put into practice within any free and democratic state or country, then we can easily enslave the whole world.

More on COMEX “Exchanges For Paper”

Written by Craig Hemke, Sprott Money News

Last week, we updated the incredible surging amount of total COMEX “Exchanges For Physical”. Much has changed in the past few days, so with some additional data in hand we thought we should re-visit the topic this week.

If you missed last week’s post, you can find it here. Please look it over before we begin:https://www.sprottmoney.com/Blog/comex-efp-use-con…

As stated last week, though EFP use between Bullion Banks in New York and London has grown over the past several years, the ongoing spike in use has caught our attention. At the current run rate, total volume of COMEX contracts “exchanged for physical” in London looks to exceed 8,500 metric tonnes for calendar year 2018. Again, that’s 8,500 metric tonnes. For perspective, the entire world will only mine about 2,800 metric tonnes this year, and the entire LBMA vault system—once you exclude Bank of England gold and gold pledged to ETFs—only holds 858 metric tonnes.

What’s clear is that there is no “physical” involved in these transactions at all. The sheer volume alone makes that obvious. No doubt these transactions are only settled by exchanging futures positions for unallocated, leveraged and hyper-hypothecated “gold”. Thus, going forward, we shall refer to these shenanigans as “exchanges for paper” instead, as there is clearly no real, unencumbered physical metal involved in the process.

Worth noting, however, is the surge in EFP volume that began over the past few months. Does this indicate anything? Does it signify physical stress in the fractional reserve bullion banking system, or is it simply a sign of an increased amount of price suppression through imaginary volume?

Nick Laird runs the terrific website http://www.goldchartsrus.com. He has total EFP volume numbers that date back to October 2015. (Sadly, in the deliberately opaque COMEX/LBMA system, we’re unable to find any data that goes back further.) Nick generously shared his data with us and it confirmed our suspicions regarding the increased use of EFPs. Not only is total EFP volume up nearly 50% on a YoY basis, we are currently seeing the highest single daily volumes on record.

Recall the beating that the price of COMEX gold took Friday, June 15. After a decent rally following the FOMC of last Wednesday, price was savaged on COMEX last Friday to the tune of nearly $30. Total COMEX trading volume spiked to 551,061 contracts, and this in itself is an atrocity, as it represents daily trading volume of 55,100,000 ounces of digital gold, or about 60% of annual mine supply, in one day.

Crypto-Collapse Resumes After Japan’s – Zerohedge.com

Posted by Gold_Titan1 @ 10:07 on June 22, 2018

What started off as a hopeful week of broadening user adoption is ending on a sour note as Japan’s chief regulator launched a probe of crypto-exchanges, prompting the largest to halt account creation sending the entire crypto space lower...

As CNBC reports, the order from Japan’s Financial Services Agency, led bitFlyer – the largest crypto exchange in Japan — to suspend the creation of new accounts while it makes improvements to its business, especially as it pertains to its money-laundering measures.

Rest of the article @    Zerohedge.

I have always thought that cryptos was nothing more than “funny” money, but I wish I put some money in 2011, I think about $7 for Bitcoin. My brother came up one day and  mentioned that someone he knows, thinks Bitcoin is a good investment, but being a hard core gold bug , I just did not believe it to be true, I thought it was just another scam. He was going to put a few  thousand into BitCoin, well he did not, after our discussion. The rest is self explanatory , he would have been a multi millionaire if he did not talk to a goldbug !!
