Nevertheless, a late cycle bid for small insolvent Energy stocks doesn’t end well

Most of the mine-able gold in the world has already been found.

There is going to be a lot of paper money chasing smaller amounts of gold…..capitalism at work.  I have been increasing my shares in good companies and smaller companies with good properties.

How much gold is there?  Where is it?  Check out this link.

Goldilocks re School Shootings

Simple civility seems to be losing ground .”

Comment:

When Joe McCarthy’s agenda lost in the 1950s, the leftist won. Movies promoting Violence Sex, Drugs and Alcohol won. A world that lives as one (mess) won, and no religion too, as in John Lenin’s agenda, no country (borders) to live or die for, imagine no possessions.

Before the communists won, we were not allowed to see Elvis below the waist when he performed. The left won and it took all these decades, climaxing in 2008, for the mistake and failure to expose itself.

has gold begun the big counter attack? It is up over $6 from this mornings lows

Re Restricted Mining Activities? Very Good For Physical, Bad For SOME Miners Only

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 13:10 on May 18, 2018

The miners that fail, and have less or no production, should raise prices and make physical holders happy, and surviving miners happy and more profitable. Trimming the herd. Survival of the fittest. Do we really care if production contracts, and some miners in India get laid off?

Yeah India has bureaucracy run amok! Get yourself a govvie job and you’re set for life, become a snail. Another argument against socialism.

” Each man had a rope looped around the beam …and tied in a noose around the neck . ” Yikes! 🙂

hui?

hui hits a bottom and tentatively heads north.  tentatively….

looks nice, but will it last?  hindsight will tell us.  hindsight is wonderfully accurate.  unfortunately, it always arrives late to the party…

IPSO – the bureaucracy in India is firmly entrenched

Posted by Alex Valdor @ 12:33 on May 18, 2018

A big lesson there for other countries headed down that path . I had a colleague at work who was from India , and who had gone home for a visit , many years ago . He told of going to the Post Office just to buy stamps , and gave up after spending several hours in line . Everything moves at a snail’s pace . If enough people complain to the government , more snails will be hired , the administrators can ask for raises because of the increased headcount , and the backed up lines will still move at a snail’s pace .

I once spoke with a field engineer for a major North American company who was assigned to speed up construction at an electrical generating station in India which was falling behind schedule . On his first day on the job , he saw barefoot iron workers dressed only in a loincloth scampering along beams without safety harness or other devices to prevent fatal falls. He said to the foreman ” See that those men have some kind of harness to catch them if they fall – even if it is just a rope looped around the beam they are walking on .”

The next morning his instructions had been carried out . Each man had a rope looped around the beam …and tied in a noose around the neck .

Right on second amendment. Like Bolton which made sense before that mention that’s screwing peace talks in NK up I wonder what plan or model they have us under lol
This is what their propaganda leads to and hope the kids figure out these schools and peace before country are endangering them making them sitting ducks.
The schools have a duty to protect them and they’re failing big time.

Ipso – a little bit of sanity I’m sure at the request of South Korea. Bolton must have been fit to be tied…

Put in a stink bid for Impact Silver at $.28

Alex – Good to see you posting. I’d love to see a pattern that works in pm’s

Agree with you about a new uproar over guns now.

Buygold , Ororeef – thanks for the comeback

Posted by Alex Valdor @ 12:12 on May 18, 2018

I have been watching the daily bid action for about two decades and have never seen that pattern ( that I recall ) . It may have been a message ‘ We can slam back any nascent pop that we wish to ! ‘

Off-topic, re Santa Fe , TX shootings:
We will see renewed efforts to dismantle the Second Amendment , which will open up calls to ‘review’ the entire Bill of Rights .

I hope that I am wrong , but that is the direction which would please the UN .

Economy here and in Guatemala has slowed considerably. If tourism falls off, this place will fall flat! All the resorts have been notified of the upcoming sales tax audits. The money grab by sleazy little elected officials never ends. Carpio and I are going into the Pine Ridge area to look for a little gold. Irish (Jack Keane) always planned to go there but never made it.

Maya, keep those volcanoes in Hawaii! Those Californians let the earthquakes move east.

We indeed are not even pygmies in comparison to mother nature.

1816 is known as the Year Without a Summer (also the Poverty Year and Eighteen Hundred and Froze To Death)[1] because of severe climate abnormalities that caused average global temperatures to decrease by 0.4–0.7 °C (0.7–1.3 °F).[2] This resulted in major food shortages across the Northern Hemisphere.[3]

Evidence suggests that the anomaly was predominantly a volcanic winter event caused by the massive 1815 eruption of Mount Tambora in the Dutch East Indies (the largest eruption in at least 1,300 years after the extreme weather events of 535–536), perhaps exacerbated by the 1814 eruption of Mayon in the Philippines. The Earth had already been in a centuries-long period of global cooling that started in the 14th century. Known today as the Little Ice Age, it had already caused considerable agricultural distress in Europe. The Little Ice Age’s existing cooling was exacerbated by the eruption of Tambora, which occurred near the end of the Little Ice Age.[4]
