Loading ...@ Alex…lol, hardly traumatized, more like going nutzoid without the net…what an experience although kitty was not unhappy about it as he got a lot more attention than usual, even though I stop computering whenever he makes demands.
@ goldi…thanks for thinking about me. Yep, prepared as one could possibly be…a generator would not have helped as I didn’t have a power outage, my ISP had their wires ripped up and were unable to provide service…until about three hours ago. My neighbors are like me, hermits unless someone is in dire straights and come knocking.

To all…I don’t have or want tv, haven’t watched it for the past ten years…don’t have radio reception and was too lazy to crank up the hand-powered short wave radio so didn’t have any knowledge of what was going on in the world…finally went to the library to check out some DVDs to occupy my time and was so attuned to nothing but nature that I forgot to check what was going on in the outside world while on the library computer. All in all, I feel fortunate that I didn’t lose power. God is good.
