Loading ...the slowing of the winds is good, but often it brings flooding. there’s still a lot of water in that vast cloud cover, and slowing the winds down just means each bit of cloud cover sticks around a little longer, and can drop more water. there’s always plenty of rain with a hurricane, but it seems the slow ones have a tendency to turn into wet messes. update from nhc in a few minutes…
