about a month ago, before i left on a western road trip, i had a huge water oak (a type of red oak) fall in my yard. when i got back from my trip, i found this and maybe ten other piles like it. i am blessed with two dutiful, energetic, and muscular children. they did this in the middle of a florida sauna-summer, and are coming again tomorrow to do more.
i am so glad i didn’t raise a pair of snowflakes!
