SM never holds a weak opening, always rallies back…Dollar never holds weak opening, it either recovers or sits there doing nothing and of course PM’s never rally further, they spend all day giving back o/n gains and close on lows.

This pattern is holding day in day out….hence the dead mkts…no-one is playing.

PAAS barely up…the games continue.

Dunno how much longer they can hold the shares down, as they are right in apex of TA triangle, that says an up move shud be explosive…..but so far they have sat all over them and still are pre mkt..despite the metal move.

Action in metal screams that Far East is hoovering up large amounts, as London is bid every day, as dealers try to cover what was sold overnight…every scum dip has dealer buying…hence the overall strength….

Maybe today we break out…maybe the scum hold it off again.

Not really helping pm’s all that much but I’d think eventually it’s going to matter.

Eventually I’d also hope that the stairs up/elevator down charade is going to end.

The Bitcoin blockchain is so revolutionary that everyone wants to imitate it.  Even central banks, because the true value of the blockchain is that it is an unhackable, non-centralized ledger of accounts.   Multiple blockchains circulate and contantly cross-confirm transactions.  It is immune to single-point failures.

Beware the imitation wannabees.  And again I say… the weakness in the system is peripheral… at the exchanges where dollars change to bits.   These guys are NOT the NYSE or NASDAQ exchanges.  This is where the theft of value occurs.

I believe I wrote here some time back that BTC went into an Elliott wave #4 pullback which could go as low as $1900.  Mission accomplished.  We rise from here.

Since I had my bitcoin core software on the thumb drive disconnected for a long time…. months… it is now working on syncing itself with the network available blockchains.  Essentially it has to recover all the transactions that occurred in the past few months, and continue to compute it’s own confirmation blockchain.   The thumb drive is slow memory.   And the CPU is generating a lot of heat, doing long chain calculations.  It’s been working for days, and is roughly halfway done.  That wait is the price I pay for the ultimate security of keeping it all offline until wanted/needed.

I think I will be looking to shake out some BTCs on the next rise above $3,000.   But I wonder how high it will go.

What’s the limit on their creation? Seems like I hear of a new one every day!

You’ve got more sense than half of Congress combined … maybe all of them. If they weren’t such greedy corrupt pigs then maybe they could fix some of their more egregious mistakes … such as the repeal of Glass-Steagal, our aggressive foreign policy etc.

This common core math program sure looks like someone wants the kids to be math failures. Lots of kids have trouble with math as it is and now they want to make it more complicated? Grand stupidity at the top of the education pyramid!

The fatboy in north korea is about to start something he can’t stop and may involve millions of people getting killed. If Putin and china have any sense, they will jerk his chain, hard.

Looks like the voters of Oklahoma will get to decide the medical marijuana issue. We have 12 year term limits for elected officials so you would think they would have enough guts to do it on their own. Maybe it’s better to take the decision out of the hands of elected officials and let voters decide.

I had lunch with an old friend this week. He is a civilian career non airline pilot. He flew in central america in the 70’s, flew into Mena, Arkansas for Bush senior and Bill Clinton, He flew in the middle east and is now flying into deep rural africa. He was never a saint and confirmed many rumors that circulated over the years. He has an incredible knack for leaving his current situation just in time.

I’m convinced more than ever that the economic/ social bust will be much deeper than anyone can realize. My only optimism is that the bottom may not last over 3-4 years rather than the normal 10-12 years. The social upheaval/civil wars should keep the world wars from happening on large scale. Everyone will too concerned about what’s going on in their own back yard to worry about half way around the world. As usual, the american leaders are still fighting the last war. I guess those carriers are gonna help in Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Oakland.

I used to think they were doing that because they wanted a way to prevent parents from being involved in their education. Now I think it was just away to justify their work by making more work on the kids ” and busy working parents.” In chemistry getting the solution right was more important than getting the answer right was pointed out. Points wise on the solution vs answer. I jepordized my own grade by helping others but although I didn’t care about math much but what I needed to know I found chem math challenging. If they used this math on higher math it would take even longer. More important is the right answer in real life is more important that the way you came to the answer minus any short cuts with room for error. That and sometimes having to get to that answer fast say in a stat med or IV not to mention getting that dose right. With one of my grandsons years back daughter in law to him to park in 100 degree weather thinkikg American Indians are immune. Their not and he got heat stroke. She called me to the hospital, I found a young foreign nurse who may have learned core math, she got the drips right on the IVv but when I asked the amount she didn’t think to ask. That could of been a disaster. I suppose that would be for other things as well like building bridges where the right numbers are more relevant than the way you did it.
That’s what it appears to be pointing to.
