Re Mining Shares

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 11:44 on July 21, 2017

Its like they are stuck in the mud. Very strange how they’re going nowhere with higher AU and AG. A while back I suspected the re-programmed the automatic electronic pricing machines from too fast, back to slower, but now too slow instead of too fast. Maybe they will notice the “mud” action and tweak it again?

ISIS command helped Philippine militants seize Marawi through funding & recruits

Posted by ipso facto @ 10:46 on July 21, 2017

new report has revealed that the Islamic State central command in Syria has been steadily funding militants in the Philippines, helping them seize the city of Marawi, arranging funding and carrying out recruitment.

The report was published by the Jakarta-based Institute for Policy Analysis of Conflict, and listed examples of how Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) provided assistance for terrorist groups in Southeast Asia.

As one example, it detailed how a top IS figure from Malaysia, Dr. Mahmud Ahmad, collaborated with the terrorist group’s command in Syria to receive funding and secure international recruits to ensure Maute militants took control of territory in the Philippines.

South Africa intends to suspend issuing mining rights

Posted by ipso facto @ 10:30 on July 21, 2017

* Chamber of Mines says believes decision “unlawful”

* Tussle over mining code raises uncertainty in sector

* Mining makes up 7 percent of S.Africa’s GDP (Adds chamber response)

South Africa intends to suspend the granting of applications for prospecting and mining rights as well as any renewals pending a court case to review new mining laws, the Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane said on Thursday.

Such a move could seriously hamper growth and investment in South Africa’s mining sector, already beset by policy uncertainty, depressed prices, soaring costs and often violent social and labour strife.

“The moratorium would ensure that any applications … are concluded in terms of the 2017 Mining Charter,” Zwane said in a statement.

The Charter is part of a wider empowerment drive in South Africa designed to rectify the disparities of apartheid that persist more than two decades since the end of white minority rule in 1994.

The Chamber of Mines said it believed the move to suspend new mining and exploration rights was “unlawful”, damaging to the sector and was beyond the minister’s powers under the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act.

Richard640 @ 9:45 Yesterday 7/20 Marked Trump’s First Six Months In Office

Posted by Farmboy @ 10:13 on July 21, 2017

The opposition has had him on the run since day one. Wish he would switch from playing defense ( It aint working) to a strong offense posture. Plenty of evil to go after. The old saying, the best defense is a good offense, comes to mind.

Time to start publicly calling out the members of his own party and putting pressure to get on the wagon.

Would like to see Trump use more Executive Orders to set things in motion. For example, and perhaps a solution to the gridlock on Obama care, Obama signed an EO excluding members of Congress from Obama care. Trump should write his own EO repealing Obama’s order. Think that might help get the ball rolling on the health care issue.

Go Trump!

Ha! Yes, I’m afraid to ask you to define “serviced” 🙂

We get something every day and usually it is a shit sandwich.

So on days like today, I have the choice of taking a sledgehammer to my computer or taking my grandson fishing, I’m going to choose the latter.

BTW – shares are probably going down with the SM, but watch what happens when the SM gets goosed back up – the shares won’t budge.

PM shares following the SM today?

Maddog=YES! That is what is driving so many Trump voters crazy!

Posted by Richard640 @ 9:45 on July 21, 2017

The Clintons are the no-brainer candidates for an investigation–instead, Trump is fleeing thru the woods with the Bloodhounds in hot pursuit–he’s not draining the swamp. Instead, while exploring the swamp he stepped into quick sand. The democrats and deep state republicans want to reverse the elected choice of the people.  Why Sessions recused himself is a mystery–he and the republicans should have displayed the same insolence and effrontery of Obama andLoretta Lynch in quashing any Talk of a Trump investigation

Score one for the deep state and zero for Trump and his party.

Re Lower Dollar? Its All Manual Control In My Opinion

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 9:40 on July 21, 2017

Take a look at the “manual adjustment” higher in 2014. To me it says they wanted to take the power off the US recovery, or economy, put stimulation on hold, and give the other countries a weaker currency advantage “spin”.

At the beginning of 2017, TPTB reversed that process, put the others on “hold” and rotate back to supporting the USA export businesses. There are no natural market forces until things get out of hand like the summer of 2008. That there WAS a natural market force against the “master”.

First there was this Niger coffee, then some hippie brand of coffee. Sad times when a man cant even get a cup of good coffee anymore. 🙂

First chore today is to call that Congress Critter and give him a piece of your mind. Go ahead, I doubt it changes anything but you will feel better. Lol.

Off to a good start in the PM’s this morning. Lets see if we can hold the gains by week’s end. Good luck to us all.

Back on the stair climber

Posted by Buygold @ 8:40 on July 21, 2017

At least we’re getting some of the gains today we should have gotten yesterday when the USD got crushed.

I’m not sure I’m believing this is any more than a trading range until the shares tell us something different.

Somehow $1240 survived, next resistance 1250, 60, 70, 80…

Then there’s this from my state’s disgrace of a Congressman Simpson, blaming Trump because he doesn’t do his job:

GOP Lawmakers Blame Trump “Distraction” For Why They’re Getting Nothing Done, Fears Debt Ceiling Debacle

“They’re a distraction. The family is a distraction, the president is a distraction…”
