I have a lot of respect for Elon Musk. People like that come along rarely. Having said that … his car company is massively overvalued and could take quite a stumble.

Looks like the shares are going to drift lower from here. No response at all from the silver shares to the move higher in silver.

What is v interesting on Glass battery, is Goodenough invented it, the same guy who invented the Lithium Ion one…so all claims have major credibility .

Re London Fire

Yes building was refurbed weeks ago and clad is some kind of new insulation as it was a v cold building originally…..of note most London Apartment blocks have no decent or ANY fire escapes…I lived in a 4 floor one for years…no way out other than jumping and that goes for most !!!!!

Probably a good play with the DSLV at the open, as I expect the usual drift into the Fed announcement. I’d be cautious after that though and might sell into the drift beforehand. I could see a hike with dovish language smashing the USD, but what the he’ll do I know?

Not sure I agree that the shooting is why pm’s bounced. Think it had more to do with weak retail sales and inflation numbers. USD has been weak ever since.

As always We’ll see.
