“Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Thursday that steps are “underway” to organize an “international community effort” to oust Syrian President Bashar Assad, a major policy shift triggered by the latest chemical weapons attack in the country’s ongoing civil war.

“With the acts that he has taken, it would seem that there would be no rule for him to govern the Syrian people,” Tillerson told reporters. “The process by which Assad would leave is something that I think requires and international community effort, both to first defeat ISIS within Syria, to stabilize the Syrian country to avoid further civil war, and then to work collectively with our partners around the world through a political process that would lead to Assad leaving.”

Tillerson added that “those steps are underway” already.”

Does that sound like WAR? It is already underway, and has been for some time, largely under the leadership of the Saudis. Why is everyone running around like chicken little?? The US is NOT going to invade Syria, the neocons have not taken over, and that CNN report concerning Trump is more fake news. No sources, remember? Propaganda designed to turn Trump supporters against him.

There’s a whole new ballgame in the Middle East, led by the Saudis, that will change everything, and it will be done for the most part by the people in that region.

But I think I’m done here trying to persuade folks to trust Trump to know what he’s doing. Are there any more fickle people than Trump supporters? Sheesh!!

Interesting. The only thing we’re learning from the Trump presidency is that an outsider and champion of the people has no chance against the swamp. It’s become apparent the United States was taken over decades ago but it has taken Trump to expose just how hopeless we really are.

It will take an armed revolution of the people to overthrow the government and I’m not sure we have the will to do it.

As you say, Rex Tillerson said we had no interest in removing Assad and that it’s up to the Syrian people to elect their leader. Now having distanced themselves from wanting the removal of Asssad, there now is this so-called gas attack. If Trump doesn’t go after Assad now, they will now say : see this is proof that Trump is working for Putin. These insane neo-cons will stop at nothing to advance their war agenda. Why in the hell would Assad do this, he has nothing to gain from this. How Trump handles this will be very telling. Lets hope he has a few aces of his own up his sleeve.
