Unless there’s a town close by walking distance hope you keep your windows and doors locked for a day or two just and look in your cars and around them before getting in and any sheds.

I expect that criminal did the right thing in not trying to come into your house. Glad it worked out.

A little excitement around here yesterday.

Posted by silverngold @ 16:15 on April 22, 2017

RCMP’s with lights and sirens blaring came by on the highway, one after another, 6 all together. We thought there must be a hell of a wreck up the highway. Then a few minutes later we heard them returning, only this time they were following an old grey pickup truck. Funny thing was the pickup was driving very slowly and all the RCMP’s were following along right behind the pickup, kinda like a mother duck with her ducklings. This time though more RCMP’s kept arriving until there was a total of 12. Another 5 minutes and three RCMP’s with lights and sirens blaring came flying into our driveway. jumped out and said “everyone get into the house! There is a fugitive who is wanted for attempted murder who just crashed his pickup up the road and ran into the bush heading your way. He is armed and dangerous”. We have a helicopter coming and also the canine unit to track him but stay inside until we tell you you can come out.”  They combed the bush with all those officers, the canine unit, and the helicopter until 8pm but never saw the guy again. Then at 8pm they called it off, said we could go outside again, and they all left.

Reports today are that he still has not been found and they are still searching, but now in a different area. Here’s the local news on it.

Man involved in Oliver shooting now wanted Canada wide for attempted murder

Oliver RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance to locate 45-year-old Afshin Maleki Ighani.

He’s wanted on a Canada wide warrant for attempted murder in addition to several other charges.

The warrant was issued after he was involved in a shooting in Oliver early on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s incident took place in the Station Street area of Oliver between Ighani and another man.

The other adult male suffered a non life-threatening gunshot wound as a result of the encounter.

Ighani is described as a non-white, 45-year-old male who is 5’9” and 166 lbs with a bald head and brown eyes.

If you have information on his current whereabouts you’re asked to call your nearest police service or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

If you see Ighani, you’re asked to call 911 immediately and don’t approach him as he’s considered armed and dangerous.

It’s caused by a particular news site. I deleted Auandag’s links at 18:23 and 18:27. The problem should be gone.

Farmboy …..French elections tommorow

Posted by Maddog @ 10:16 on April 22, 2017

Seems I missed a couple of v important points.

First There are 4 not 3 main runners tommorow, Le Pen, Fillon centre right, Macron centre left and Macheron extreme left and anti EU…all are polling near equal.

Second….@ 40 % of voters have NOT made their minds up.

So tommorow with that mny undecided u could easily have a Le Pen and Macheron in the run off and both want out of the Euro/EU…so major chaos could erupt Sunday night/Monday in the mkts.

Thanks for the Greg Hunter video. I’ve never seen him so animated and outraged, especially over the gold market and the Fed and big banks manipulation of all things.

Gold

*The large specs increased their long positions by 26,307 contracts and increased their shorts by 3,205 contracts.

*The commercials reduced their longs by 350 contracts and increased their shorts by 23,350 contracts.

*The small specs reduced their longs by 696 contracts and decreased their shorts by 1,294 contracts.

The changes were pretty much as expected. So many new small spec longs in silver not good.

No don’t trust monsanto and keep in mind we also have good bacteria in our gut that might be affected.

Monsanto Weed Killer Roundup Faces New Doubts on Safety in Unsealed DocumentsIn one email unsealed Tuesday, William F. Heydens, a Monsanto executive, told other company officials that they could ghostwrite research on glyphosate by hiring academics to put their names on papers that were actually written by Monsanto. “We would be keeping the cost down by us doing the writing and they would just edit & sign their names so to speak,” Mr. Heydens wrote, citing a previous instance in which he said the company had done this.

My two cents on wheat

Posted by redneckokie1 @ 21:00 on April 21, 2017

roundup is used in no till farming to control weeds before planting. No herbicide is used after planting. The only time a plow goes over the field is during planting. Herbicides and fertilizer are applied on the surface.

In Oklahoma, wheat is being grazed out by cattle or baled as hay because of low prices of wheat and high cattle prices.

harvest will start here in about a month for those farmers who want to sell grain.

wheat has not been genetically modified (yet) but has been hybridized to increase yields. In the old days, farmers would save and plant their own seed but the new varieties will revert to the original varieties in the hybrid. Fields planted with second generation seed look like the farmer planted sixteen different varieties of wheat seed.

if you want to see wheat skyrocket from very low prices, a hard freeze in western Kansas before maturity would do the trick.
