Loading ...In 1968 I was the Credit and Collection Manager for General Electric Credit Corporation in Sacramento California. I was promoted to the General Manager of their San Jose office. Rather than take that promotion I quit, changed careers from consumer finance to the insurance industry, quadrupled my salary that first year, and 2 years later accepted a promotion to National Field Service Director for a subsidiary company of Aetna Life and Casualty in Washington DC.
It was a long adventurous road from DC to BC, and too long a story for here, but I just kept following my heart, made another total lifestyle change, and arrived in BC in September 1975 where I have lived a wonderful and fulfilling life ever since.
