Loading ...I’m not in Southern Cal but have one brother left from there who stayed, rest left the state years ago. He’s higher up the hill though. Still they can get strong winds and flash floods in some areas. I see Sylmar has a shelter and it also has a Dam. I stood under it once as a teen in weather like that since I couldn’t surf next best thing ride the Rapids from the run off. Saw how fast it could erode and got deep fast with sides caving in getting wider and wider. After seeing a crack behind me and stepping over it soon caved in too, like a scout for others decided too dangerous lol The soup above the water was 3-5 or more feet in some areas and moving so fast tbe ground was vibrating. They’ll need to taking things not nailed down out like a hurricane if bad as projected.
