Loading ...What you say reveals the problem with this dam and its supposed back-up spillway plans. All of the back-up components failed directly as a result of the main spillway failure. They were never really back-ups in the first place.
Also, I will say that the dam may very well fail now even if we had no more rain at all from here on. Because the spillway continues to erode back up toward the dam as they release water. And they must continue to release it.
