That’s true about nature. Earth does not inhabit man, man inhabits earth. But man does tend to think the opposite and think he’s smarter. One day he’ll get so smart he’ll destroy himself less he learn to be more humble.  The rest I don’t know what Goldcountry is seeing or part truth with fake news as she’s trying to filter out. I do know they can mess up on building things and will depend on contractors then inspectors to watch. The Dam is not at risk presently as far as we know but the spillway that could in itself it’s said spill over a 30 foot wall of water now heard 20 ft. Either which is above people’s nose.

The battle goes on.

I read on twitter that CA asked the feds for 162 million for flood damage (before this developed) and they turned it down. The source speculated that it was because of sanctuary cities defiance and Calexit and all the rest of the commie nonsense spewing from Brown and friends. I can’t confirm if this is true however.

Yes I agree it’s a stretch. As I said, Jim stone always goes to the extreme case. But he has also been right so far about the continuing damage and erosion, while the DWP has been for days saying that the dam is safe and people are not in danger. Have to give him some credit.

Goldcountry Brown needs money for a wall. Imagine that lol

Posted by goldielocks @ 11:13 on February 13, 2017

I was wondering if anything on sabotage was going to come out with that hole they discovered. Good way to ask for a blank check.. Either way .. which Brown is currently doing. Imagine that! He needs money to build a wall. Any money he gets should be scrutinized beside emergency issues for dam and people to where it’s going and to whom. We know Feinsteins husband in real estate for instance. A little farther down Sac rivers and Levies are full and don’t know if they will be absorbing water if it breaches. We’re gonna have rain for the next two weeks with everything full and ground already saturated can’t absorb much more. First one will be cold so snow in mountain instead of rain where the last rain melted it and caused overflow. Then  more storms following for about two weeks every few days.

Goldcountry seriously?

That sounds like a load of crap. The spillway is failing because engineers suck and they never properly plan for the “unthinkable events”. It’s too out of the box for their slide rule mentality. Mean for me to say, but I work beside these people every day. What it comes down to is, nature can NEVER be controlled. Engineers just deceive others into thinking they have thought it out

Trailer for ‘racist’ Netflix series Dear White People ‘gets a million dislikes in just ONE day

Posted by eeos @ 11:03 on February 13, 2017
  • Controversial new programme has garnered a huge backlash
  • Numerous subscribers have cancelled their Netflix service in response
  • Users slammed the forthcoming show as ‘not reverse racism, just racism’
  • One of it’s writers, Jack Moore, posted on Twitter: ‘F***white people’
  • It’s claimed the company deleted 100,000 negative comments from YouTube

More than 250,000 ‘dislikes’ were registered for the Dear White People preview on Friday, just 24 hours after it was officially uploaded to YouTube.

But the true scale of the discontent could be much higher after claims the online broadcaster deleted both a million views and 100,000 accompanying negative comments.

The 30-second clip opens with a collection of Caucasian stereotypes and the show’s African American protagonist, Samantha, hectoring students at the fictional Winchester University.

‘Dear white people,’ she says. ‘Here’s a list of acceptable Halloween costumes: pirate, slutty nurse, any of our first 43 presidents. Top of the list of unacceptable costumes: me.’

It then shows a number of college students sporting so-called ‘black face’ and the violent responses that follow.

The preview comes ahead of the series premiere on April 24.

Jim Stone has been saying from day one that the spillway damage was intentionally done and that the dam would fail. But he does tend to look on the dark side. Now they have suspended the domain name on his site, so only direct IP addresses will work. This has not happened to him before, and he thinks it’s because he’s right about the sabotage.

“There were a few readers who said I reported about the dam too much. I kept on it, because I strongly believe the spillway failure was sabotage. And I did not think they would sabotage the spillway unless they had run endless 3d modeling proving an absolute failure would result. I was confident this failure was the end result of careful modeling and sabotage to make it happen, but did not say it because it sounded too “out there”.
And now, TOO BAD, I’D RATHER BE WRONG but now the emergency spillway is failing also, because it is just too much water to run over a damaged dam. I believe communists in California’s government blew the primary spillway up with explosives. After that, nature would finish the catastrophe. And I believe they carefully planned this out fully, complete with ground penetrating radar scans to prove there would be a horrible end result. That is the type of people that are running California now, I would not put this one inch past them.

Whatever happens now all depends upon how strong the rock in the mountain is that all of this water is going to flow over if the emergency spillway does give out completely. Hopefully we will only lose the top 50 feet of water, and not all 770 feet of it. ”

Thanks for the heads up on MUX.

Usually any merger in the pm sector causes the both stocks to fall but it doesn’t appear to be affecting MUX all that much. Mac is the man.

Looks like we’ll have to fight our way back again today.

McEwen Mining Announces Agreement To Acquire Lexam

Posted by Farmboy @ 8:25 on February 13, 2017

“Monday February 13, 2017 08:03

McEwen Mining Inc. (TSX, NYSE: MUX) says the company has agreed to acquire all outstanding securities of Lexam VG Gold Inc. (TSX: LEX), with Lexam becoming a subsidiary of McEwen Mining. The arrangement is subject to approval by shareholders of Lexam. Under the deal, each Lexam common share would entitle the holder to receive 0.056 of a McEwen share. Lexam shareholders would receive a premium of 30% to the 30-day volume weighted average price of the Lexam Shares, McEwen Mining reports. Based on current outstanding Lexam shares, McEwen Mining would issue 12,689,709 shares of McEwen Mining stock to shareholders of Lexam. “Lexam’s assets include multiple advanced exploration projects located in the prolific gold camp of Timmins, Ontario. Lexam’s primary projects are past producers with defined resources and excellent infrastructure,” says Rob McEwen, chief owner of both McEwen Mining and Lexam. “The proposed transaction would give the Lexam shareholders access to McEwen Mining’s technical and financial resources, enabling the projects to be advanced towards production.  Lexam shareholders will also gain exposure to a growing gold and silver producer, with a diversified portfolio of projects throughout the Americas.” If approved, the acquisition means McEwen Mining will add measured and indicated gold resources of 1,468,500 ounces and inferred gold resources of 954,000 ounces.”

I already do OT lol Wont affect me presently.   Some  didn’t leave with anything but shirts on their backs. Why I don’t know, they had time, planners had time to plan better for places for them to go. Hotels full for those who can afford it but now will have to go farther out. I  heard one shelter in Chico to the north. Lots pouring in my way to the south. They need more, a lot more if it breaks IF  some of the suggested Evac areas where people already leaving surrounding Oroville go mandatory.

Gonna be a looong Monday. Tank up!
