Thinking maybe we need to do a little upgrading to this ole Gold Train Steam engine. Think you could get your hands on one of those little nuclear powered engines they use in submarines ? Need to pick up the speed a little more don’t you think? Maybe even get Wanka to install it? In between his naps of course!
Far as today’s action goes it looks like Wall St is waiting for Yellen to make her usual announcements. Maybe Trump can Tweet something about gold to help us out a bit?

2017 off to a good start so far. 🙂
Course, I thought we were doing great, then looked at palladium up 8% the last two days. Wow!

Yes Sir, that’s the plan for the new year. Rack em and Stack em. Rack up some paper profits in the markets, and convert them into real money. And who knows, perhaps our fortunes will let us upgrade those cold steel tractor seats to something a little warmer. 🙂

smelling the roses. Yep, nice to kick off your boots and relax in style. Think I will enjoy the moment for another 10 or 15 minutes before getting back to shoveling the coal. Figure we need another 249 trading days like yesterday’s to get us goldbugs our very own Club Car.
Hope things are going well at the Ranch. Cheers!

proliferation of book shelves against this digital age?
Hinting to the end of electronics?
I’m glad I kept my Sorry (being a polite Canuck)Â game board.

caledonia’s been cranking out a quarterly divvy for two or three years now – in addition to being a nice “bouncer” for swing trading. another divvy coming the end of this month!
i wonder what will happen when mugabe finally shuffles off his mortal coil. (he’s 92) that should be good for another shake-up of maybe a shake-down. i’ve been playing this one with “house money” for so long, it’s all good.

Caledonia still hanging in there. Well congratulations to you. Probably for me a proven company that also pays a dividend. Thanks for the suggestion. And Happy New Year to you.

Going over my mining stock portfolio for 2016. Of course got hit bad. So bad in fact that Silverado (SLGLF) went belly up. Looking for a winner to replace it.

I just wanted to mention to you that if I had the chance to sit on the cold cast iron tractor seats for a one-on-one conversation with Farmboy my part of the conversation could be summed up in two words: Â Buy Silver.

looking good–the $ is still up 300 bps but well off its highs–too early to tell if it’s THEE bottom but certainly 100-150 buck rally is possible–very similar to last yr with all the scary looking charts and projections to 700–800-900 gold–that’s how most were shut out last yr.

They may be keeping gold in it’s place for the first day of trading, but Silver aint taking it no more.
