Nobody alive today need to have guilt !   90 % of immigrants came her after 1906  LONG after 1865  what should they be guilty of ?   Why should immigrants from Italy Ireland Germany and wherever have any guilt about what some Southern Democrats did prior to 1865 ?  They came here with NOTHING ! and BUILT something…just like Trumps father did ! they were cheap labor and WORKED their way up ,there was NO welfare ,NO un employment compensation ,No FOOD STAMPS .  How did they do it ?

What concerns me is the amount of investment its going to take to make the change to light waves instead of electronics .the company I mentioned already has almost a Billion in investment but has hardly got any commercial products yet.How is the private sector going to raise investment capital if interest rates(cost of Capital) goes up ?

If they choose to rescue the Banks INSTEAD ,its going to STARVE the Private sector that creates JOBS .The Private sector needs cheap money and plenty of it to rebuild and create millions of GOOD JOBS…The BANKS need high COST money to RESCUE them from their Gambling mistakes ….WHo is going to WIN that argument ?

Will Political Bribery get to RESCUE Banks and starve job creation ?    It’ll be BANKS or BUTTER !

I have a LaCie FUEL WiFi SSD , 2? maybe 3? TB , to handle that from my 32GB tablet . Uploads in the background  , downloads on command , and I am happy with it for large video files , etc . You may wish to check it out if you encounter any Cloud issues .

Our phones might just replace laptops and desktops altogether.

Top end smart phones already have as much or more computing power than mny desktops/laptops, the only thing they lack is storage, but the Cloud can do that.

My son is coming to visit in a few weeks,he has a PHD in physics specialty PHOTONICS laser fiber optic lightwave transmission  has 5 patents  on military applications .I hope he can enlighten me on the new applications even though its a little out of his speciality.

One of the problems he had while running his own company was obtaining cheap lasers ,they were essential in getting the cost of applications down.I dont know how this effects this type of application ,but Ill find out !

A computer security research team has identified a weakness in several brands of low-cost wireless keyboards that could allow hackers to view and record every word, number and password typed by a user from up to about 75 metres away.

According to Bastille, an Atlanta-based research team, eight wireless keyboards made by companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Radio Shack and Toshiba send keystroke data from the board to the USB dongle that connects to your computer without the encryption needed to mask what someone is typing.

This is about 20 miles SW of my ranch.  Two years ago when the lava was flowing east toward Pahoa town, the county spent millions to carve an emergency access road across this old south lava flow, in case the main highway at Pahoa got covered by lava.  Well now the flow is coming down to the south again and it just cut across the ’emergency access’ road…. again.  (There is an old highway under all that lava from decades ago.)  Anway, the videos of lava flowing over the cliff into the sea are amazing:
