Comment:
On number 3 TPTB manipulated currency exchange rates to lead Americans to love cheap imports.
Re number 2 We need money for freedom. More money leads to more freedom. Less money leads less freedom. The USA lost mega tons of “MONEY”, in various ways, by importing far more foreign made crap than we export, since 1975.
Number 3 normalcy? The gov’t media created a huge bunch of control freak neurotics. They complain about EVERYTHING. Neighbors lawn not cut often enough. Cars going too fast on their street, people having fun on a holiday week end for loud music or making too much noise. They don’t like Guns or hunting and hate big SUVs. They NEVER shut up.
We have a republic where out gov’t is supposed to PROTECT us, do what’s right for us, for our own good, like keeping unneeded IMPORTS the hell OUT of here. Imports we NEED fine. But we don’t really NEED anything from abroad.
And what did our alleged gov’t do? They joined a union of gov’ts, and they served each other. Many countries benefitted at our expense. Now its finally over. Good to the last drop. Nothing left here to take.
Its a shame imo that the Americans didn’t know better, than to be led like a horse to water, that they didn’t have to drink. Everything that wrong was because of importing. It didn’t have to be this way. I’m surprised the economy took so long to bottom, ’75 to ’09, an entire generation of decline.
