Yeah, I like Ken O’Keefe. He tells it like it is and I do agree with him that a lot of people are waking up. He nails it with the root of all problems being centered around the banksters and their ability to print infinite amounts of money.

“while on a cruise different places in South America I picked up a Spanish newspaper and found that they didn’t celebrate Cinco de mayo there. There was a article on it and they said only the Chicanos here celebrate it they don’t.”

this shows several misconceptions:

a) may 5th is a mexican national holiday.  mexico is in central america, not south america.  there is no reason for people in any south american country  (argentina? bolivia? venezuela?) to celebrate a mexican national holiday.  in the united states, we don’t celebrate australian national holidays.

b) a spanish newspaper?  in south america?   they had imported newspapers all the way from spain?  must have been expensive.

c) in mexico, they do celebrate cinco de mayo.  it’s a mexican national holiday.

Again, I fall hard in the best interest of large corporations. I am no longer the Editorial Cartoonist for Farm News due to the attached cartoon which was published yesterday. Apparently a large company affiliated with one of the corporations mentioned in the cartoon was insulted and cancelled their advertisement with the paper, thus, resulting in the reprimand of my editor and cancellation of It’s Friday cartoons after 21 years of service and over 1090 published cartoons to over 24,000 households per week in 33 counties of Iowa.

I did my research and only submitted the facts in my cartoon.

That’s okay, hopefully my children and my grandchildren will see that this last cartoon published by Farm News out of Fort Dodge, Iowa, will shine light on how fragile our rights to free speech and free press really are in the country.

I would love to see him wipe out the Fed and find the gold – if there is any.

Look at the strength in the shares, seems to me the shares are indicating that this little USD bounce has just about run its’ course.

Jobs report tomorrow, but ADP was ugly yesterday and jobless claims shot up 17K this am. Should be a weak report.

Chinga de mayo lol about 10 years ago while on a cruise different places in South America I picked up a Spanish newspaper and found that they didn’t celebrate Cinco de mayo there. There was a article on it and they said only the Chicanos here celebrate it they don’t.

Maya, those in that kind of management with know clue what makes businesses work or the skill behind it are a big problem today, I can bet most won’t have as long as a carrear that you did. Ives seen these things come in go about every decade. You should go through what it takes to get a gov job. You only have a few years left. I’ve seen people retire early either because they had to or some just wanted out and then  wound up having to get a job anyways. That thiught is scary because what happens when you can’t do it anymore? I also heard people are leaving senior apts because they’re too expensive. When your 65 theyll start taking out medical from your check and you’ll probably need a supplement too. I forget how much but heard it went up. Anyways you still have the market and barters with your food and chickens. Your on a Island and not hungry AND no more heating bills and winter tire changes. Traveling nurse friend who spent few years in Hawaii too sent me a pic of Wisc few weeks ago with snow still on the ground. She drove out there from calif with a Uhaul pulling her car with no Chains through blizzards this last winter. She said she just followed the trucks at about 30 miles hour in the bad places.

Gold Train

Wig-Wag1

It’s Kentucky Derby time, and CSX railroad is taking the corporate special passenger train out to the races.  But more special than the train is that signal protecting the siding switch track.  I had only read about them, and this is the first actual picture I have seen of a “Doll-Arm Signal”.

Normally a signal is placed adjacent to the track that it controls.  In rare circumstances it is impossible to place the signal immediately adjacent to the line that it controls.  If the signal is placed two tracks over, the signal mast has a “Doll-Arm” sticking out to indicate that there is a “dead” track in that position that the signal does NOT control.  In this case, the siding track is not controlled by the tall signal, but the second track over… the main line… is the track the signal is active for.

The siding track also has it’s own exit signal.  It is that dwarf signal on the ground under the doll arm, that indicates when a train may leave the siding out onto the mainline.

Railroad trivia you never knew… You will all be qualified Gold Train engineers, soon!
