Poking the bear. Insanely stupid who want to see America fall or don’t care and are so stupid they underestimate Russia. Everything they’ve done has been a failure and all the current plays be flags or gay marriage is just to distract the sheep from their treasonous acts against this country. Get on flag Cuz it’s racist in same light can use it for their fast track of letting illegals in to undermine US companies and wages and if you complain your racist. So do they care what happens, I doubt it.

New Poll at bottom of sidebar … add your two cents, or three or one. :-)

Don’t push a bad position!

by Bill Holter

“Don’t push a bad position”! This is good advice in many varied quests. It is good advice in games like chess or poker. Good advice in sports, business, politics, geopolitics and certainly in militarily ventures. Today we will look at two separate issues where “bad positions” are being pushed to the wall!

First, we have an insane situation brewing in COMEX silver. The open interest finally exceeded 200,000 contracts (1 billion ounces). I believe the only other time this much open interest existed was back in 1980 or ’81. This makes no sense whatsoever, the price is again plumbing 4 year lows yet open interest has moved to record highs? The fact open interest has expanded while price has declined is proof positive the “initiation” of this expanded open interest has been by “shorts” but absorbed by “someone” on the other side of the trade. Total global production of silver is only 800 million ounces or thereabouts so COMEX shorts have contracted to deliver 25% more silver than will even be produced globally over the next 12 months. Silver available for COMEX delivery only totals 57 million ounces so they sit on a naked short time bomb of more than 950 million ounces!

If we look at the July silver contract, there are 55,000 contracts still open with only 4 days remaining before first notice day. This is 275 million ounces still open with only 57 million ounces available to deliver. This is truly fraudulent sales of metal because the metal does not exist to deliver. Yes I know, the apologists will say “this always happens and the shorts will decline into first notice day and evaporate throughout the delivery month”. I agree, this “has” always happened in the past but something is changing now. In the past, total open interest always dropped going into FND, now it is not. Not only are all July contracts closed out being rolled into September, the total is rising rather than declining sharply.

“Blood On The Streets” – Bonds Battered, Stocks Slammed As Greece Suddenly “Matters”

For a while there the Russians were dropping concrete from helicopters over the Ukraine reactor. They lost a lot of people dealing with the meltdown. Compare their response to that of the Japanese. Just my impression but the Japanese seem to have done little to heal this festering, leaking sore.

Thank you for your replies. It is my understanding that the Russians had closed off further radiation leakage.

“Why are we poking the bear?”

The only answer I can come up with is that certain members of our leadership are certifiably insane. Who else would seek to play nuclear Russian Roulette? Pretty scary thought!

Alex – I just am not sure we have the leaders in the states that have the courage to pursue secession, certainly not here in Idaho. IMO, it will take one of the southern states like Texas or Oklahoma. If they do, they will have my support 100% with whatever I can give.

Ipso – I’d like to see that too, although that is not the Neocon way. I’d really rather have Putin call Obozo to tell him that Russia and China would be backing their currencies with gold on Monday, and that he better ready for some bank shutdowns. 🙂

I like to see us talking with the Russians.

I’d like us to say: “We’ve decided to change our policy from hostility to one of mutual cooperation and respect. We are going to stop trying to surround you with military bases and we’re going to withdraw most of our forces from Europe.”

The Russians are not looking to invade Europe and the Europeans should look to themselves for their own defense anyway.

Buygold – I think your post re: State Secession is on the mark .

Posted by Alex Valdor @ 10:41 on June 26, 2015

The rulings passed down by the SCOTUS in the past two days will apply to all states which choose not to secede . Are we headed to the second Civil War in America ? Perhaps . Yesterday’s decision/politically motivated redefinition of the ACA is not supported by the Constitution as I understand it .

and the Greek saga continues…

Greece Rejects Bailout Extension, Tsipras Says “Won’t Be Blackmailed”

Update: GREECE SAID TO REJECT EU15.5B BAILOUT EXTENSION PROPOSAL: ANA

“[I will defend] democracy, solidarity, equality, mutual respect. These principles were not based on blackmails and ultimatum, and especially in these crucial times no one has the right to put in danger these principles. The Greek government will continue decisively to give the fight in favor of these principles, to continue to give the fight on behalf of the European people and of course on behalf of the Greek people.”

I’m not sure if that makes sense, sell bonds and go into stocks? Bonds shouldn’t be selling off on “Greek hopes” they should maybe be selling off on a strengthening economy or fear of a rate hike don’t you think?

But I obviously know nothing, I’m invested in pm’s.

of a deliberate operation of the real “rulers” to divert the attention of the cyphers that comprise a lamentable citizenry, from the real issues they should be focused on like the Trans Pacific partnership–medical fascism [vaccines]–the shifting of the big banks gambling debts onto the tax payers etc etc

Greek Deal “Hope” Sparks Bond Carnage

Tyler Durden’s pictureSubmitted by Tyler Durden on 06/26/2015 09:26 -0400

“Hope” of a Greek deal are being resurrected (with no real signs of progress) and that is sending stocks higher and spreads tighter and crushing Bunds and Treasuries. 10Y Bund yields are 7bps higher at 93bps and 30Y Treasury yields are spiking to 2015 highs…

Yeah, I’m numb to the financial news as well. I’m not sure but it looks like the bond market might be showing some signs of breaking down.

Wow – CNBS Reports

Posted by Buygold @ 10:08 on June 26, 2015

Supreme Court rules states must allow same-sex marriage.

The federal gov’t is doing everything in its’ power to completely destroy the principle on which the country was founded. Either that or they are seriously trying to push secession in certain states.

We’ll see what the fallout is in certain states. Amazing stuff.

Buygold–thanks for the wakeup call on bonds-! I wouldn’t have

Posted by Richard640 @ 10:04 on June 26, 2015

noticed-numb as I have been to “financial news” lately

Anyone else been payig attention to the bond markets in the west?

Posted by Buygold @ 9:58 on June 26, 2015

Ten Year now above 2.45%

German Bunds selling off.

Why? It surely has nothing to do with strengthening economies. You’d think with Greece there’d be a “flight to safety”. If the boyz lose control of the bond markets and it’s game over. The Fed doesn’t need to hike rates, the bond market is doing that for them.

Something wicked this way comes IMHO.

Putin Calls Obama

Posted by Buygold @ 9:49 on June 26, 2015

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-06-25/putin-unexpectedly-calls-obama-what-did-they-talk-about

This is what the Kremlin stated was the official purpose of Putin’s phone call:

Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the United States of America Barack Obama.

In particular, the two leaders discussed the Ukrainian crisis and the fulfilment of the Minsk Agreements. The Presidents agreed that US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin will be in contact to discuss implementation of these agreements.

Significant attention was given during the discussion to a set of issues pertaining to fighting terrorism, particularly the spread of influence by the “Islamic State” group in the Middle East. Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama agreed to instruct Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry to hold a meeting to discuss this issue.

In addition, the presidents of Russia and the US had an extensive discussion of current issues in bilateral relations. They also engaged in a detailed exchange of opinions concerning the situation in Syria and touched on settling the issue of the Iranian nuclear programme.

So why really did Putin call Obama?

The underlying reason may well have to do with what we discussed three weeks ago in “The Noose Around Syria’s Assad Tightens” a post which we left off with two rhetorical questions: i) what is the maximum pain level for Russia, which has the greatest vested in interest in preserving the Assad regime in place, and when does Putin finally get involved, and ii) how.

Perhaps Putin gave an answer on i) or ii), or both, to Obama in the phone call. Curiously, speaking of US support for ISIS as a front to topple Assad, just a few hours before Putin’s phone call, the WSJ reported an even more outlandish conspiracy theory:
