Obama is just a spokesperson, or representative of global influences, well groomed, and very good at his job. Bringing attention to incorrect places. Diversionary tactics its called. They ALWAYS re-direct peoples attention to the wrong places.

The global powers are losing it. Everything they accomplished was a square peg rammed into a round hole, a Rub Goldberg, glopita glopity machine, and they are proud of it.

I just finished reading your thought provoking essay. Some food for thought you might like. I’ve watching “the situation” very intently, constantly, since about 1964. No time to tell you everything, but briefly…

Regarding a few of your “WE” s’?

(15? More like since the 1971 gold de-peg that “we” did not want)

Bill, try to remember and keep in mind…”WE” are not really ‘we’.

We, patriotic Americans did not do anything bad to ourselves. Think about WW I, the depression, Gold confiscation in ’34, gleaning funds to fight, invest in, WW II, Korea, Vietnam, deindustrialization, mass immigration, lower living standards etc.

The only good high living standard years “THEY” unwittingly or purposely gave us, (like China today) were the years 1945 to 1975.

“We” actually don’t have our own private domestic gov’t anymore after 1913. We have someone else’s gov’t. No domestic gov’t would do to its own people what this one did. Like the Indian Chief that accepted $35 worth of trinkets for Manhattan Island without telling the tribe. Unelected global special interest influences.

Regarding the high volume contracts, I’ve often seen very high volume bars at or on stock chart turning points. Regarding all the odd ball things, I’ve noticed, look for signs, practically everything from the 1945 to 2008 era is in reverse.

Integration, globally, of financial systems, banks, labor, races, religions etc was a big mistake. And its all reversing. I KNEW it long ago and could not do a thing about it. Getting rid of Saddam Hussein for only one example shows the obnoxious stupidity of the master planners.

Also, the US Dollar is not REALLY a US Dollar anymore, its a global Fed Note Dollar.

“China” is not really “China” either. Think about it. “China” did not wake up one morning and say “we are going to be vendor of the world.” Global powers made them what they are. “Japan” too, same thing. Their good years were ’45 to ’89.

Also, deflation can be good for Gold, because deflation, and low rates, shows ineptness or mismanagement with the financial system.

Yeah, the Cereus grow wild..and prolific.. from the volcanic rock on the cliff sides of Manoa valley and Punchbowl crater… areas in the hills near Punahou school.  I used to jog around Punchbowl crater and see lots of plants hanging from the hillsides.  Lots of limp blooms hanging in the midday when I was out jogging.   I probably would have sneezed my way through it if I tried at night when they were fully open!

That is some gorgeous hedge!  It is too bad that no one has invented a way to save the fragrances of flowers the way we can take a picture to save what is viewed.

I visited a place in Honolulu on the mountainside – I think it was a volcano site – back in the 70s and the entire hillside was covered with Night Blooming Cereus plants.

One of the more famous hedges of Cereus is along the rock wall enclosing the campus of Punahou school in Honolulu.  This was where Obama attended High School.  The plants trace their lineage back to a sea captain who brought them in the mid-1800s  The rock wall extends for several blocks in each direction from the corner of the campus, along two city streets.  Elvis even had a line about it being the best place to see these… from “Blue Hawaii” movie.

One can only imagine the fragrance of walking along this sidewalk!

Tunisia plans within a week to close down 80 mosques that remain outside state control for inciting violence, as a countermeasure after the hotel attack that killed 39 people, Prime Minister Habib Essid has announced.

“There are about 80 mosques that we are going to close down through legal means within one week,” Essid said. “This is a decision the government has taken and we have assigned the minister of interior and all authorities involved to carry this out within the coming week. It is not acceptable to have in Tunisia any mosques operating outside the rule of law.”

The announcement came after a gunman disguised as a tourist opened fire at a Tunisian hotel on Friday with a rifle he had hidden in an umbrella, killing 39 people including Britons, Germans and Belgians as they lounged at the beach in an attack claimed by Islamic State. Another 36 people were wounded.

Maybe I’m not awake, but it seems the following numbers (red highlighted text – Open Intertest 200,000 contracts Vs. 55,000 contracts) don’t jive.

More likely, I just don’t understand –  Is he talking about the same contract?

 First, we have an insane situation brewing in COMEX silver. The open interest finally exceeded 200,000 contracts (1 billion ounces). I believe the only other time this much open interest existed was back in 1980 or ’81. This makes no sense whatsoever, the price is again plumbing 4 year lows yet open interest has moved to record highs? The fact open interest has expanded while price has declined is proof positive the “initiation” of this expanded open interest has been by “shorts” but absorbed by “someone” on the other side of the trade. Total global production of silver is only 800 million ounces or thereabouts so COMEX shorts have contracted to deliver 25% more silver than will even be produced globally over the next 12 months. Silver available for COMEX delivery only totals 57 million ounces so they sit on a naked short time bomb of more than 950 million ounces!

If we look at the July silver contract, there are 55,000 contracts still open with only 4 days remaining before first notice day. This is 275 million ounces still open with only 57 million ounces available to deliver. This is truly fraudulent sales of metal because the metal does not exist to deliver. Yes I know, the apologists will say “this always happens and the shorts will decline into first notice day and evaporate throughout the delivery month”. I agree, this “has” always happened in the past but something is changing now. In the past, total open interest always dropped going into FND, now it is not. Not only are all July contracts closed out being rolled into September, the total is rising rather than declining sharply

$200 Million Went to House Members to Pass Fast Track – Here’s Who Took the Cash”

Many think our government is for sale. However, by taking a look at the facts below provided by Open Secrets, it is easy to understand where they are coming from.

Looking back at Friday the 12th, the House voted on Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), the controversial bill that gives power to the executive branch to negotiate treaties. TPA limits Congress’ ability to better a trade deal by subjecting members of Congress to 90 days of reviewing the trade agreement, prohibiting any amendments on the implementing legislation, and giving them an up or down vote.

TPA passed with a mere 219-211 vote with only 218 needed to pass. The real shocker comes from the amount of money each Representative received for a yes vote. In total, $197,869,145 was given to Representatives for a yes vote where as $23,065,231 was given in opposition.

• John Boehner (R-OH) received $5.3 million for a “yea” vote and was the highest paid legislator.
• Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) received $2.4 million for his “yea” vote.
• Paul Ryan (R-WI) received $2.4 million for a “yea” vote and came in at the third highest paid legislator.
• Pat Tiberi (R-OH) follows Paul Ryan, coming in the fourth spot having received $1.6 million for his “yea” vote.

The fifth highest paid legislator is somewhat of a “hero” in comparison to others. Representative Steny Hoyer (D-MD) received $1.6 million for a yes vote and only $282,710 for a no vote. Despite his high contribution from those in favor of TPA, he still voted a solid nay.

We also have other hero stories.

• Joe Crowley (D-NY) received 1.3 million for a “yea” vote and only $72,550 for a “nay” vote and he still voted against TPA.
• Patrick Murphy (D-FL) received 1.1 million for a “yea” vote and only $213,360 for a “nay” vote and still voted against it.
• Richard Neal D(MA) received $1.1 million for a “yea” vote and a mere $47,625 for a “nay” vote and still voted against it.

Democrats are not the only heroes in this voting session. GOP members spoke very loud and clear.

• Mick Mulvaney (R-SC) received $541,746 for a “yea” vote and no money at all for a “nay” vote and he still voted “nay!”
• Andy Harris (R-MD) received $254,803 for a “yea” vote and no money at all for a “nay” vote and he still voted “nay”.
• Thomas Massie (R-KY) received $250,328 for a “yea” vote and no money at all for a “nay” vote and he still voted “nay.”
• Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) received $180,832 for a “yea” vote and no money at all for a “nay vote” and she still voted “nay.”

Where did this kind of money come from? Those in favor of TPA were security brokers and investment companies who donated a whopping $11.3 million dollars for a “yea” vote. Big banking companies donated $10.1 million dollars. In other words, Wall Street hashed out millions and millions of dollars to push for the passage of TPA.

Holy cow, 11 blooms!  That must be a record.  The fragrance of only one bloom fills an entire room, I cannot imagine what 11 would do.

I’ve had the great grandmother of the present plant, she was a cutting from a hundred year-old plant when I received it as a gift.  I’ve made babies and given them away to a few people, who have also enjoyed not only the fragrance but the beauty, as well.  And I always keep a back-up plant, just in case.
