The thing that’s bothersome for the metals is that they’re no longer tied to anything. The USD has fallen at least 4% in the last couple of weeks, oil is up $17 off the lows. Economic news continues to worsen and the metals go nowhere. They’ve been completely hijacked by the paper players and the banks are easily keeping it in check.
I don’t know what changes that.
