Iranian general: ‘We welcome war with the US’

The US is worried that Iran sanctions wouldn’t ‘snapback’ if Tehran cheats

Obama is doing little to assuage concerns of America’s Middle East allies

The Senate has passed a bipartisan bill to give Congress a chance to review – and possibly reject – any final nuclear deal with Iran.

Thursday’s vote was 98-1.

The vote follows months of wrangling over the legislation while the U.S. and five other nations negotiated with Iran.

Senate passage was a victory for lawmakers who succeeded in muscling their way into the Obama administration’s talks with Iran.

The legislation would block President Barack Obama from waiving congressional sanctions against Iran for at least 30 days while lawmakers review any final nuclear deal.

If senators disapproved of any deal, Obama would lose his power to waive certain economic penalties Congress has imposed on Iran.

The vote followed months of wrangling over the legislation while the U.S. and five other nations have engaged in delicate negotiations with Tehran. Negotiators have been hurrying to reach final agreement by June 30 on a pact to curb Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for relief from sanctions stalling the Iranian economy. Talks resume next week in Vienna.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said it’s imperative for the American people to have a chance to review any final deal that is reached with Iran and to have a say in its outcome.

He said congressional review especially is needed because if any final deal with Iran looks similar to interim agreements reached so far, Iran will be left on the threshold of developing a nuclear weapon. He expressed fears that money Iran receives from the lifting of crippling economic sanctions would be used to support the Syrian government, terror networks and rebels in

Military Site Deagel.com Predicts Economic Collapse And Massive 78% U.S. Depopulation

Sweden, etc:

The collapse of the Western financial system will wipe out the standard of living of its population while ending ponzi schemes such as the stock exchange and the pension funds. The population will be hit so badly by a full array of bubbles and ponzi schemes that the migration engine will start to work in reverse accelerating itself due to ripple effects thus leading to the demise of the States.
This unseen situation for the States will develop itself in a cascade pattern with unprecedented and devastating effects for the economy. Jobs offshoring will surely end with many American Corporations relocating overseas thus becoming foreign Corporations!!!!

We see a significant part of the American population migrating to Latin America and Asia while migration to Europe – suffering a similar illness – won’t be relevant. Nevertheless the death toll will be horrible. Take into account that the Soviet Union’s population was poorer than the Americans nowadays or even then. The ex-Soviets suffered during the following struggle in the 1990s with a significant death toll and the loss of national pride.

Might we say “Twice the pride, double the fall”? Nope. The American standard of living is one of the highest, far more than double of the Soviets while having added a services economy that will be gone along with the financial system. When pensioners see their retirement disappear in front of their eyes and there are no servicing jobs you can imagine what is going to happen next.

At least younger people can migrate. Never in human history were so many elders among the population. In past centuries people were lucky to get to their 30s or 40s. The American downfall is set to be far worse than the Soviet Union’s one. A confluence of crisis with a devastating result…

April Payrolls Miss At 223K, March Revised Much Lower, Wage Growth Disappoints Again

Tyler Durden’s pictureSubmitted by Tyler Durden on 05/08/2015 08:39 -0400

While the April payrolls came almost precisely as expected, at 223K, a tiny 5K below the 228K expected, the reason stock are soaring is that the already abysmal March payroll prints was revised even lower to just 85,000, the weakest print since June 2012, and pushing the 3 month average job gain to under 200K, or a level which the Fed has indicated previously it will hardly do much if anything material.

The household survey did not provide an offsetting boost, with the number of employed Americans rising only 192,000 in April according to the “other” survey.

And, as a result and as we noted in our market wrap today, with a June hike now looking unlikely, the S&P has exploded higher.

Ran across this dog on Facebook

If anyone near that area is willing to take or foster this sweet looking pit I’ll pay adoption fees even to get spayed. Her time may be short. This place has killed a lot of animals and lots of these places don’t even look for owners or to find a home. I’ve read if four owners looking for their dogs and they were there all that time and then put down. She’s in Dade Florida.
