I have butterfly closures in my emergency first aid kit, and also some veterinary Super Glue for wound closures. As a kid in the 60’s, my uncle showed my cousin and me the new “Super Glue” he had for hearing aids. He put a drop on our finger and told us to pinch it. My cousin and I spent the next hour trying to get our fingers apart without ripping the flesh off! Finally uncle applied some acetone nail polish remover and freed us.
I never forgot that lesson on how Super Glue cyanoacrilate bonds skin!
