I’m still exhausted from my postings of a couple days ago. Passing the baton to you and hoping your lap in exposing this crazy mixed up race to our demise is more successful than mine. It’s a “lead a horse to water” kinda thing, and these days the water might even be poisoned.  All The Best……………

When FOOD gets scarce

Posted by Ororeef @ 12:19 on February 23, 2015

it pays to have some Red Neck Friends with Gardens and Guns ,some Mormon Friends who store 1 years  worth of Food  and even some Amish friends and Mennonite friends… even they got Guns now !

The Future looks bleak unless we make changes soon.. the crops get planted SOON !  and then it’ll be another YEAR before the NEXT one !

Food is nothing to get Political about ..it will bring governments DOWN REAL FAST  …..THATS why Eisenhower and the Repubilicans kept PRICE SUPPORTS  for MANY YEARS  ..IKE saved the World in WW2 and then made SURE we had plenty FOOD  when he became President…..Then he built the Interstate  highway system ..not because he had a economic vision of what it would bring ,but because he had Learned from HITLER and the AUTO BAHN that he could send TANKS  to defend any corner of the Country  …IKE was concerned for the FUTURE and  Security of the US …and we still benefit from his vision . IKE took care of our Security and FOOD supply them left us alone to grow as a Nation……As it turned out THE 1950’s were the best years this country EVER HAD …anybody alive then can attest too.

ipso facto @ 9:36 Farm Prices

Posted by Ororeef @ 11:53 on February 23, 2015

Yes they will collapse because the Gubberment is the BIGGEST BUYER  when you think about it  ..Who pays for and Prints FOOD STAMPS ….Obama ! and he will control his budget by collapsing Food Prices and balancing his BUDGET  …it will buy a lot of VOTES and cause the renters of Farm Land to abandon their contracts when they are unprofitable .

Then there will be millions of ACRES of GOOD Farm Land left IDLE and the only real EXPORT the US has will DISAPPEAR !     AND like a GOOD Communist he will have control over the FooD supply of the US…

As as History shows us, Food shortages will show up just like Cuba and Venezuela BUT Communist Governments will get re elected because of LOW food prices  even though theres not enough food to go around .

Typical Communist share the Poverty outcome !   Where’s  your Food Stash ? How will you defend it from hungry mobs ..Wheres your Gun and AMMO ?

Everybody will have FOOD STAMPS to get FOOD BUT….no FOOD  at any price !  Unless you pay in Gold MAYBE !    haha

needs to GO  ! along with the DEMS and their Handlers .They have sold us OUT long enough !  to Mid East corrupt oil sheiks for money money money and religious barbarians while the Terrorists infiltrate the US under the guise of “immigration” ….  Marx was right “religion is the Opium of the MIND”  and its used very effectively in the Mid East ….The US founders managed to avoid religious  wars because the founders understood  the separation of Church and State was imperative and the State HAD to be the Guarantor of Freedom of Religion .Its the Guarantor that keeps Theocracy from spreading and religious competition is absolutely necessary to keep the worst from intimidating the more peaceful and annihilating them through fear and terror ..The Democrats have sold us out for Mid East Money and the Mid East has used that Money to buy Political Power and infiltrate the US with Muslims who have NO Loyalty to a Secular State but only to a Theocratic State run by Religion.

Oblabla is an enabler (sell-out) to the Mid East being both a Marxist and Muslim MOLE.  As evidence by his Bowing and Scraping in their presence… What a combination !  Freedom has many enemies and they are showing themselves as they get to positions of Power.   Our domestic enemies the Communists have joined forces with the foreign enemies the Muslims to destroy America  .Muslim is not a religion ..its a Government in disguise hiding under cloak of religion ..its a theocracy …that’s what Sharia LAW is ..Absolute Power  that corrupts Absolutely !  TOTOL control over your MIND and your MONEY …

Zambia eases tax rules, to start refund talks on a ‘company-by-company basis’

Posted by ipso facto @ 10:47 on February 23, 2015

Zambia has finally yielded to pressure, easing tax regulations that have deprived mining companies operating in the country from refunds estimated at more than $600 million.

The new rules, effective Monday, will allow exporters to provide import documents from transit countries instead of forcing them to only document the final destination — something companies claim is almost impossible, Reuters reports.

The decree only applies to future payments and not amounts already owed, with the revenue authority planning to start talks over the backlog “on a company-by-company basis.”

Africa’s second-largest copper producer has been withholding value-added tax payments from miners and other exporters. Authorities argue they were needed to curb tax avoidance, but the move mostly caused mine closures and thousands of job losses.

One of the first companies to act on it was gold giant Barrick (TSX:ABX), which announced it would suspend operations at its Lumwana copper mine, and would start laying off workers in March putting close to 4,000 jobs at risk.

Fellow Canadian miner First Quantum Mineral (TSX:FM), Zambia’s largest foreign investor, warned that the new tax system would “inevitably” lead to fewer new jobs and dissuade entrepreneurs from investing in the country. Earlier in the year, the company delayed investment projects worth $1.5 billion in Zambia due to uncertainty over the fiscal regime.

Glencore (LON:GLEN), the world’s third-largest miner by market value, also did its part by halting operations at its Sable Zinc Kabwe mine.

Kiev says cannot withdraw heavy weapons as attacks persist

(Reuters) – Ukraine’s military said on Monday it could not start withdrawing heavy weapons from the front line in the east as required under a tenuous ceasefire because pro-Russian separatists who advanced last week were still attacking its positions.

A truce to end fighting that has killed more than 5,600 people appeared stillborn last week after rebels ignored it to capture the strategic town of Debaltseve in a punishing defeat for Kiev.

Nevertheless, the peace deal’s European sponsors still hold out hope it can be salvaged, now that the Moscow-backed separatists have achieved that objective.

Kiev says it fears the rebels, backed by reinforcements of Russian troops, are planning to advance deeper into territory the Kremlin calls “New Russia”. Moscow denies aiding the rebels.

Alan Greenspan Warns: There Will Be a “Significant Market Event… Something Big Is Going To Happen”

snip

We asked him where he thought the gold price will be in five years and he said “measurably higher.”

In private conversation I asked him about the outstanding debts… and that the debt load in the U.S. had gotten so great that there has to be some monetary depreciation. Specially he said that the era of quantitative easing and zero-interest rate policies by the Fed… we really cannot exit this without some significant market event… By that I interpret it being either a stock market crash or a prolonged recession, which would then engender another round of monetary reflation by the Fed.

He thinks something big is going to happen that we can’t get out of this era of money printing without some repercussions – and pretty severe ones – that gold will benefit from.

Ag sector in trouble?

Rent walkouts point to strains in U.S. farm economy

(Reuters) – Across the U.S. Midwest, the plunge in grain prices to near four-year lows is pitting landowners determined to sustain rental incomes against farmer tenants worried about making rent payments because their revenues are squeezed.

Some grain farmers already see the burden as too big. They are taking an extreme step, one not widely seen since the 1980s: breaching lease contracts, reducing how much land they will sow this spring and risking years-long legal battles with landlords.

The tensions add to other signs the agricultural boom that the U.S. grain farming sector has enjoyed for a decade is over. On Friday, tractor maker John Deere cut its profit forecast citing falling sales caused by lower farm income and grain prices.

Many rent payments – which vary from a few thousand dollars for a tiny farm to millions for a major operation – are due on March 1, just weeks after the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) estimated net farm income, which peaked at $129 billion in 2013, could slide by almost a third this year to $74 billion.

The costs of inputs, such as fertilizer and seeds, are remaining stubbornly high, the strong dollar is souring exports and grain prices are expected to stay low.

How many people are walking away from leases they had committed to is not known. In Iowa, the nation’s top corn and soybean producer, one real estate expert says that out of the estimated 100,000 farmland leases in the state, 1,000 or more could be breached by this spring.

The stakes are high because huge swaths of agricultural land are leased: As of 2012, in the majority of counties in the Midwest Corn Belt and the grain-growing Plains, at least 40 percent of farmland was leased or rented out, USDA data shows.

“It’s hard to know where the bottom is on this,” said David Miller, Iowa Farm Bureau’s director of research and commodity services.
