SM futures still around the same, but oil now up 9%. Rates and the dollar higher. Gold, but especially silver sliding. The pm shares are still solid, but we’ve seen this movie before. They are not keen in allowing gold to be the only asset performing well during war or any event. Silver will tell the story.
Hard to believe all these events haven’t been coordinated by the Globalists to take place at the same time. Riots, Israel, etc. I guess that would mean that the current Netanyahu gov’t. is controlled by the Globalists as well. Timed to distract our military from the business they may need to take care of here at home.
If I were Trump, I’d counter this by bringing all our troops back from Europe. But he won’t, there’s still too many neocons in position of influence.

Gold has been up between $30-40 all night, silver has been either side of flat. Oil was up 8%, but settling down a bit up 6%

This might be the first time pm’s were already in a bull market when a major war has erupted. Otherwise, the war trade for gold generally hasn’t lasted for more than a day or two. Hard to say how it will do here.

Currently, there is no heavy rare earth separation capacity in the United States, though efforts to build this capability are underway. The Department of Defense (DOD), in its 2024 National Defense Industrial Strategy, set a target to establish a fully integrated mine-to-magnet rare earth supply chain capable of meeting all U.S. defense requirements by 2027. Since 2020, the DOD has invested over $439 million to strengthen domestic supply chains. This includes a $9.6 million award to MP Materials in 2020 under the DPA Title III program to develop a light rare earth separation facility at Mountain Pass, California, followed by a $35 million award in 2022 for a heavy rare earth processing facility. These would be the first fully integrated rare earth facilities in the United States, spanning mining and separation at Mountain Pass to refining and magnet manufacturing in Fort Worth, Texas.
