That said I remember when they brought in the Euro, a lot of people were confused as to why they printed a 500 Euro note…..turns out they had to, because of the vast amount of black money under beds, if they hadn’t , people would have had suitcases stacked in their houses, I heard the other day that I think you can get 25,000 euro’s in 1 cigarette packet !!!!!

Earlier today, shares of Porsche AG in Germany plunged the most on record after the struggling sports car maker announced it would scale back its electric vehicle (EV) rollout. Porsche scrapped plans for a future battery-powered luxury SUV and shifted focus back to petrol-powered engines and hybrid models. This move will result in a $2.1 billion hit to operating profit and force both Porsche and its parent, Volkswagen AG, to revise their full-year forecasts.

Just getting the hang of posting here – but have been reading for years.

Greatland have two mines – one producing now Telfer, good for several years with a refinery and a much bigger one, Havieron not far away, will come into production 2026 , 20,000 + ounces gold plus copper).
Also they have a massive area where they are still exploring.
It should become the third biggest gold/copper mine in Australia,
Cash balance nearly $1 billion (Australian$) from refinery this year – – and no debt!
Quite a lot in the news recently – a little search will find it.

as we head into the Crimex open. Silver has lost about a third of its gains. Gold about a quarter.
If they reverse it, that’s pretty standard for pm’s, good gains overnight only to be reversed in the US. I’m surprised we haven’t seen that happen multiple times during this run, and I’m not even sure they’ll be able to reverse it, but we’ll see.
The COT Report showed the commercials big add of shorts on the gold side with 33K contracts, FWIW.

Looks like Greatland trades under the symbol GGPSF here in the states. Looks interesting, just started trading here in July it seems.
They actually have earnings and a 12 PE – Nice!
Gold and mining shares are having a good start today in the UK.
No mining in the UK these days but Greatland Gold (GGP) started trading here years ago as an explorer and has attracted many small investors.
Now shares have become available in the main Australian market too and is already producing gold and copper with much more to come as the mines develop.
Oddly GGP has a big following here with well attended meetings in pubs around the island.
Hope the US has a good day too when the markets open.
