Silver is running out and moving from LBMA to Crimex where delivery is being taken? Would explain why we’re up in every overnight session.
Regardless, here we are on another Monday am seeing our metals up another 1+%, and silver is leading the charge and headed toward $49. Gold wipes out $3900. We’re doing all this with the dollar up some and the 10 yr. up 3 bips. Oil staving off $60 is up $.80, Bitcoin up $400. SM up.

I haven’t watched CNBS or any financial TV in a long time, but it sounds like the pm run has gone unreported? Seems that would confirm that it’s the big money players doing the buying. If so, how high do we go and when it stops do we crash? The guy in Goldie’s video says $90-100 silver. He also said gold was up 4 x’s the S & P in the last 6 months – and no one is talking about it. Maybe they’ll take us to $10K and then re-value?

Yeah I know but the lower welfare or criminal type uneducated they’re ridding themselves of migrant trouble makers might not know that alcohol is cooked out. I don’t know if I would like and probably not barbecued bacon, maybe sweetened once in awhile but liquid smoke is powerful and have to be careful and balance. Cause with other things or sweet things like barbecue sauce. Even a little too much can overwhelm the flavor of the meat. Last years though if I can get out of cooking to that degree if someone else wants to do it I will. Id have to make a lot of it and freeze it to make it worth while. Thanks for sharing the recipe. I have a son in law who likes bacon and barbecue I might get him to do it lol but not sure if he’s that experienced.
except for the cure, the salt and sugar, pretty much everything else is optional. the alcohol in the wine and beer? most of that is eliminated on the trip up to 150 f (and any chance of trichinosis).
any trace that’s left goes away in the first thirty seconds in the frying pan.

Wow that’s some ingredients. Liquid smoke too. That’s interesting. Add some brown sugar or favorite berry preserves might even have a barbecued flavor. That is some work. It would make good gifts.
fall is in the air, time to make up a batch of Treefrog’s Genuine Original Down-home Boneless Bacon…
not all bacon is like what americans are used to in the supermarkets. various cultures have been making bacon or bacon like products for millennia. there’s nothing else on the sunday afternoon/evening agenda, i think i’ll make up 15 pounds of this recipe (tripling all the quantities) from a couple of boneless boston butts i picked up yesterday.
this recipe has evolved from buckboard bacon, cajun tasso and other kitchen traditions.
not purist to any particular type, but i think it tastes really good:
5 lbs pork several cuts will work (belly, boston butt, jowl, etc), minimum 25% fat, more is better. remove all bone and skin, cut in chunks max thickness 4″ (bear in mind you’re going to want to slice them thin across the grain later).
1 1/2 tsp cure # 2 (can be found on the web. many folk use cure #1, but i like #2)
4 tbs salt
1 cup red table wine (rossi paisano ?)
1/2 cup honey
16 oz beer
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tbs cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp allspice
1 tbs liquid smoke
1) combine everything but pork in a large, non-metallic, sealable container (2.5 gal ziploc in a bowl? large tupperware type container?). mix well, then add the pork.
2) turn it over (or stir) several times to ensure all the meat surfaces are covered.
3) refrigerate for at least ten days (2 weeks? 3?), turning or stirring daily.
4) rinse excess salt, cure, spices from the surface
5) slow oven roast (or smoke) 160 f for 4 hours or until internal temp is at least 150 f.
6) slice thin across the grain and fry as you would other kinds of bacon.
7) enjoy!!
(chunks will keep in ziploks in the fridge for several weeks. freeze for longer storage)
it doesn’t matter what the question is, the answer is either bacon, or more bacon. american (streaky) bacon, canadian bacon, buckboard bacon, back (british) bacon, tasso (cajun bacon)…
Silver had an even stronger month than gold, soaring 16% in September and inching toward historic highs. According to Jensen, this isn’t just speculative frenzy—it’s the inevitable result of years of global deficits and a shrinking pool of accessible physical supply. “We’ve got three years of 800 million to a billion ounce deficits,” Jensen pointed out, “and before that it extended for a couple more years.” Despite these deficits, the vault stock in London hasn’t budged, staying flat at around 140 million ounces since May. “The conclusion I’ve come to is that’s not available to market… that’s held by private owners,” he asserted.
Even ETFs like SLV are failing to reflect the real pressure in the system. Jensen suggests that the physical silver supposedly backing these ETFs is likely unavailable or being illegally rehypothecated. “The ETF holdings in London have barely gone up at all,” he noted, despite the explosive price action. As for the free float? Jensen claims it’s virtually nonexistent: “The amount of silver bars in the 1000 ounce format… that are truly available to market right now are measured in the tens of millions of ounces.”
With such tight availability, the physical silver market is entering crisis territory, evidenced by backwardation, surging lease rates, and static vault numbers.
Silver is overbought and just about nobody believes the cabal will allow silver to go above $50 for very long.
So the right strategy is undoubtedly staying the course if you are in it to win long-term because sentiment in the retail trade is lousy – and volatility can work both ways with precious metals under such circumstances.
For this reason – surprises will be to the upside.
