Not taking us down hard again, course not letting us run up either.
This is the bull market pm’s live in. You get trashed on a Monday, and then spend the next four days trying to re-coup from the trashing with miniscule moves higher. This is in a pm BULL market. In a bear, we’d have continuous waterfall declines that would take us down for days/weeks.
So, if we’re lucky, we’ll get most or all of Mondays’ losses back by tomorrow. Then start the cycle all over again, maybe even try to get those bullish charts to play out, but that’s a stretch. I think Powell may speak to the House today, but not sure, and he said what he’s going to say yesterday. He shouldn’t be a problem.
Dollar flat, rates flat. QQQ’s higher as always. Bitcoin has gained almost 10% back this week. No problems there. Aladdin has things on autopilot.
There are righteous people in law moving forward and more needs to be done for states rights to protect against tyrants and racketeering but this
Chevron decision by the supreme Court will cause challenges to these departments like EPA and department of interior who do not allow their decisions or so called experts to be challenged
Perhaps they should do their job and protect the environment from chemtrails and toxic dumping and coming to us next spent EV batteries. I bet if they found copper and lithium they’d be signing another tune…that is not clean energy by the same standard’s…
The Supreme Court on Friday threw into question the future of climate and environmental regulation in the United States, scrapping a decades-old legal precedent that gave federal agencies leeway to interpret laws according to their expertise and scientific evidence. The impact of the decision to scrap the so-called Chevron deference will take years to become clear, but it could allow for far more legal challenges against regulations by agencies like the EPA and the Department of the Interior that have a huge role in the climate fight.
Federal courts have long deferred to federal agencies to interpret laws that are unclear and need further clarification. In 1984, a shorthanded Supreme Court ruled in a unanimous decision that federal agencies have the final say on ambiguous policies, which allowed those agencies broad authority to make decisions without fear of judicial override.
Department of Interior shuts down millions of acres of Alaska to all oil, gas and mining activity
The Interior Department last Friday blocked 28 million acres of federal land in the state of Alaska from any mining or oil and gas development.
Rick Whitbeck, Alaska state director for Power The Future, said the decision on D-1 lands removes an area the size of the state of Pennsylvania from resource development, which will have severe energy impact to the nation and the state of Alaska.
“Today’s double-whammy attack on Alaska’s resource development opportunities makes 65 times the Biden administration has targeted our state’s energy and economic future. This administration has completely kowtowed to radical environmentalists in an effort to gain favor at the ballot box. Placing 28 million acres off-limits to responsible development is foolhardy, and only empowers China, Russia and other enemies of our Republic,” Whitbeck told Just the News.
In a separate decision, the department also blocked a 211-mile gravel road that would have connected mining districts in west-central Alaska to a highway that runs through the middle of the state. The mines are rich in copper and cobalt needed for the so-called green energy transition.
I hope you are right and that not much will change … for a while at least … but there’s still going to be ongoing immigration from the Muslim countries and then there’s the demographic thing …
Even though the Far Left won tks to Proportional Representation, there is no out right majority , so to get anything past or to have a government, 2 of the 3 parties have to vote/work together, as no-one will work with Le Pen, it is just the Far left and what is left of Macrons crew …and the odds of them working together are damn near zilch as well….it looks like utter chaos…..but in fact nothing will happen ….Belgium had a 3 or 5 year period like that, where no majority could be arranged and in fact life was great…as nothing changed…..I remember buying cigarettes there for like 50 % or less than the UK, because taxes had not been raised,…….
That sounds about right! The Koran says it’s appropriate for Muslim countries to levy extra taxes on non Muslims because … well because they aren’t Muslim.
The French will rue the day they allowed this shi* show to be established. I don’t know if there’s a way back at this point.
France’s triumphant left-wing coalition unveils its radical plans for government including a 90 per cent tax rate on the rich, lowering the retirement age and huge spending
Manuel Bompard, coordinator of France Unbowed, said: ‘We are preparing to govern, to apply the programme which is ours.’
The programme includes a 90 per cent tax rate on any annual income above €400,000, a reduction in the retirement age from 64 to 60, a block on the price of essential goods, a 14 per cent increase in minimum wage and spending commitments of at least €150 billion over three years.
Trump might help a bit for four years trying to bring in jobs and wants to give incentive for Americans having their own kids instead of people coming in with no motivation to work and make a career out of making their own baseball team , and double the population in a few years without the infrastructure or space to support it, but after Trump who knows.
He sounds a bit like Hunter here. Doesn’t call this a melt up but we have three bubbles at the same time.
He gets in and they discover he has a wife and 10 kids. I wonder how many of these asylum seekers are just like him or plan to be. Then they can multiply how many they are by 11.
Afghan “asylum seeker” brought his wife and 10 children to France through family reunification. He doesn’t work but he wants and gets free house, pocket money, free medical care, free education and many other benefits. This is where European taxpayers’ tax money ends up.
Not hurting us too bad. They hit us right when he opened his mouth, but somehow we’re recovering a little. Dollar started to rally but now leveled off.
Still waiting for the shares to catch a bid though.
After your 4:11 video this one on chem trails came on. A whistleblower who worked who discovered she worked with them and quit. Might be a good one to pass to deniers or that weather can be manipulated even though the military had been using it as far as I know in Viet Nam. Probably before that.
All he has to do is write them a check and all will be good with them and he can go get his ice cream and go back to bed. We can just go deeper in debt.
