Suddenly pundits are saying the low oil price (after seven or eight trading days!) is deflationary and Powell needs to cut NOW, the dopey sod, can’t he see? Trump wants lower rates too, but not for deflationary reasons, hence his excoriation of Powell.
The Aussie collapsed in a similar fashion at the same time, but has already recovered its losses; I think the last two days in oil is just it catching up and in a couple more weeks the dump/pump will just be noise on the charts.
He who hesitates is lost/dead/sworn at/blasted with the horn. There’s a guy crossing from the left who sees the bike and pauses – wrong! If he’d continued dawdling across the road the bike was already on a course to miss him by an inch. As he does with all the other pedestrians, shopping trolleys and mobile letterboxes.
Vehicles give way to anything coming from the right, and in front of them. Anything. If you want to swerve left then do so. The driver on your right will give way, even though you didn’t indicate, suddenly accelerated or braked. The white van at the beginning did so.
That’s it. Enjoy.
p.s. maybe check that your life insurance covers you for extreme sports.
Yes that’s what it looks like. Must make it difficult for busses to have to drive that street and no traffic control. Sounds like they’re still showing up on the beaches from boats to Italy. From Normandy to this. What happened?
Ipso – that story about Yemen is fake news, the sources being Bloomberg and WSJ. It also looks like we won’t be attacking Iran either anytime soon. Unless the Globalists/EU/deep state pull off some false flag, I’m pretty sure peace is going to be breaking out. The hawks failed to sway Trump. If they try a false flag, they’ll be blamed for it. All according to Roger Stone.
Maddog, deer79 – oil shot higher today, any idea why?
Yeah that guy was a reckless bike rider! The people in that video must come from someplace there’s few cars. They all walk in the street when the sidewalks are clear.
Africa, boy he was driving fast. I’m surprised they didn’t go after him. By the time he apologized they couldn’t hear him .He was saying to tell everyone to let them know. That they’re migrants going from a place in Italy. Or what I could make out of it. He wants everyone to know what’s going on.
…..and this bit of news is helping the oil companies’ performance today……
the Energy Department is eyeing steep cuts that could wipe out nearly $10 billion in clean-energy funding, jeopardizing major projects with Exxon Mobil and Occidental Petroleum.
Or, as the market appears to see it, a cost saving measure for the likes of Exxon, who will no longer have to endeavor to spend on low-margin “green” businesses.
This is a chart of the XOP…the oil explorer ETF…it is a picture book perfect Inverted Head & Shoulders, with volume confirmation…..left shoulder increasing into the head where it peaks and then declines into the right…..thatb projects way up…if so the majors should follow as well…..If Trump is successful the economies will take off and the demand for energy goes way up, well before new fields can be opened, so oil should stay strong and oil Co earning as well
US Mulls Ground War In Yemen Via Mercenaries, Pro-Saudi Factions
Bloomberg reports Wednesday that the United States is currently in talks with Saudi-supported Yemeni forces (who have long fought the Houthi rebels) to cobble together a possible new land offensive to send against the Shia militant group which is allied to Iran.
“Yemeni forces opposed to the Houthis are in talks with the US and Gulf Arab allies about a possible land offensive to oust the militant group from the Red Sea coast, according to people involved in the discussions,” Bloomberg writes.
Exxon…hmm. Blue chips have appeal, but I would be concerned about investing in a very inflated stock market. I think I’d rather have cash to invest after a major correction, which I have believed was overdue for a long time. But who knows? I don’t. Thanks for the reply.

I’m sharing this because of rising chatter about historical parallels.
