Re Gold Relative Strength Versus US Dollar Index

Look at the 2012 2013 high around the $18oo line, with a 75 Dollar index remember that.

Now below here, look where the dollar was around 2012 around the 70 line and gold around $1800.

So we had a low 75 dollar with $1800 gold, and now we have a high 106 dollar and STILL with a $1800 teflon gold. This to me is very telling and profound. The higher Dollar should have pushed Gold back down to $1400 or lower. So the high 106 dollar today makes Gold very very under priced at $1800. Maybe should be $2500 by now if that Idiot dollar wasn’t so high. So basically, the dollar is losing respect and had no sucess pushing gold down.

That’s a pretty amusing false and misleading statement. I remember seeing a receipt for a 1950 Chevrolet that my uncle bought is was for $1000.

My friend just bought new Chevy Equinox $31,000. So going back to 1950 things cost about 30 times more. I use a factor of X or times 20 going back to the early’70s.

looks like we’re up a bit in the premarkets, with $1750 the point of defense for the scum.

Shares look healthy as well against the down SM.

A little early to know if we’ll hold any gains. USD down a smidge. If GDP beats, I suspect we head back south.

I didn’t read the article but yes chocolate can help but have to check how long and how much a day and the caffeine content. It has flavonoids which in short causes vasodilation which lowers BP. Thought I’d add something to that though. Lol It can also elevate testosterone levels, although other things can lower it like non stick pans for cooking has chemicals not good in them. Virgin olive oil elevates too non heated. Flavonoids are good for the blood vessels but food that clear them out helps too. Someone on off grid mixes almond butter and honey to counter the bitter in chocolate and a little sweater plus makes energy bars with them.

I love it!  I’m growing my own in the backyard here.  Got the beans from two pods of the Cacao tree now.  Very bitter and black inside, they need to be ground to powder and mixed with something sweet and greasy.   Gotta see if I can take my BP down naturally and confound my PCP.

Remember your wife mentioning the cost of eggs. I was taking to my son today since months back I heard chirping a
of baby chickens in the background asked what the heck is that? He bought chickens and raised them said their big now. He said he’s tired of eating eggs and throwing some out because there’s too many. Lol I guess he didn’t know the price went up told him to save them for his sisters and things to come. Sheesh He works out of town and busy as his wife and asked about his chickens. He said they’ll fly over the fence once in awhile but will stay in front of the house till he gets back.
Since the Congress just passed another spending bill maybe you can get a fenced off area and a hen house. Well if he can do it with his schedule and just reading up on it I guess anyone can.

People were doing that but there watching the GDP tomorrow for one of a few things and possibly the top of a bear market run.
I don’t know if the GDP is going to be better or see how so in the long run may be more than a day trade.

here is the J-Powell trade=The last 3 FOMC meetings have seen huge rallies only to be followed by massive dumps on Thursday.

    It sounded hawkish to me too, but Wall Street liked it. Or maybe it was just a short squeeze. The last 3 FOMC meetings have seen huge rallies only to be followed by massive dumps on Thursday.

    It was so hawkish that yields dropped and assets rocketed higher. Can you imagine if he actually raised rates a meaningful amount? Everything would have been limit up.

      Hahahaha, you’re part of the problem that Powell is trying to stamp out. You people don’t get it: the more markets fight the Fed, the more the Fed has to hike rates because it’s through the markets that the Fed transmits its monetary policies to financial conditions, and tightening financial conditions are what lowers demand, which is what tamps down on inflation.

      The longer markets fight this, the higher rates will be going.

      Also, here is the J-Pow trade.

      It worked twice in a row already. And now we’re doing it for the third time. We need confirmation tomorrow.

      I described the J-Pow trade last time:

      1. go long at the end of the day before the FOMC meeting to cash in on the Powell ramp-up.
      2. sell during the press conference
      3. go short at the end of the press conference to cash in on the drop at the end of the day and on the big dive the next day.

      Happened exactly that way the last two times. Waiting for confirmation tomorrow. It would be a hoot to have this confirmed.

Upside breakout, Gold up $36.60, (2.13%) Silver up .51 (2.74%) After market no less.  Its about time. AU AG is saying FU ha ha to high dollar the Feds Rate hike.

I’m sure the Fed figured AU and AG would take a beating today. Now they will be forced to make bigger threats.
