Sadly, I think that’s true, and I don’t see the USD giving up ground as rates rise.

I do think that the Fed is accomplishing its mission in fighting inflation, at least in a lot of commodities. It hasn’t hit the stores yet, but I think it will. Gas in my parts is $3.45 gal. down from $5 and it’s come down quickly. Some of the food commodities have been crushed.

An interview with a lobster fisherman, he said lobster prices have crashed back below where they were before the great inflation, he’s getting squeezed big time.

USD up yet again, rates up 4 bps and rising. Recipe for disaster for our pm’s. But hey, at least we have another chance to reverse, LOL

Bitcoin getting smashed down around 8% or so, but the real carnage appears to be in commodities across the board. Oil reversing yesterday’s gains, down a couple %.

Doesn’t look like a day where the SM makes another miraculous comeback.

Don’t know how much more they can trash silver, maybe the paper price will go to $13 but silver eagles will stay around $25 ea.
